An impressive cast gives an unexpected boost to <I>Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties</I>, the sequel to the first film starring the comic strip cat turned CGI feline. Once again voiced by Bill Murray (whose ever-eclectic career ranges from <I>Meatballs</I> to <I>Lost in Translation</I>), Garfield stows away in the luggage of his owner, Jon (Breckin Meyer, <I>Clueless</I>), as Jon travels to London to propose to his veterinarian girlfriend, Liz (Jennifer Love Hewitt, <I>Ghost Whisperer</I>). It just so happens that in England, a cat named Prince (voiced by Tim Curry) has just inherited a castle--much to the dismay of Lord Dargis (Billy Connolly, <I>Mrs. Brown</I>), who plots to get rid of Prince and all the other animals who inhabit the castle so that he can build condominiums on the property. Naturally, paths cross, identities get switched, and a barnyard of very British beasts find themselves dependent on the eternally lazy Garfield to keep their home safe from Dargis' predations. <I>A Tail of Two Kitties</I> is cheerful and short; nothing about it is very inspired, but it's certainly better than the first film and the technical effects are impeccable. Additional voice work by Bob Hoskins, Jane Horrocks, Rhys Ifans, Vinnie Jones, and others make everything seem just a little bit classier, as does the presence of Roger Rees (from the RSC <I>Nicholas Nickleby</I>) and Lucy Davis (from the original version of <I>The Office</I>). <I>--Bret Fetzer</I>
Description
America's favorite fat cat is back, and this time, he's giving England the royal treatment! It's a British invasion of a different kind when Garfield, along with pals Jon and Odie, travels to London and meets his mirror-image in Prince, an aristocratic kitty who has inherited a fabulous castle. The two trade places, and soon Garfield is living large as only he can! There's just one problem: the dastardly Lord Dargis wants him out of the picture. A Tail of Two Kitties is twice the laughs and double the fun for the whole family... It's good to be the king!

I love Bill Murray.......2007-05-30
Bill was awesome in the voice production. I felt in love with Garfield; a tale of two cities, the moment I watched it once. The artistic ingenuity makes the movie a darling for every family. It's awesome watching this in a big screen. Not a bad movie at all!
Garfield - A Tail of Two Kitties.......2007-05-12
THANK YOU!!!!! Movie came in excellent condition. Great movie for the whole family!!!
Great Product!.......2007-04-11
This was such a great movie. NOthing of real value to talk about in this review--sorry.
English Castle Cats.......2007-03-08
We thoroughly enjoyed this movie-and we did not even have a grand child with us at the first viewing-she will see it soon-she is British and we have been there many many times and it was refreshing what you did with the English culture-We loved it-
Really A giggle.......2007-02-26
The plot we have all heard before, it's true but somehow when Garfield is involved it just gets too funny. Jon takes a trip to the United Kingdom and of course Garfield makes sure he finds a way to go and takes Odie along. What a pair! In the meantime the Queen dies and leaves her entire estate to Prince XII, who is the spitting image of none other than our Garfield.
In comes the 'human' would be heir, Lord Dargis, who is next in line after cat Prince XII. Lord Dargis decides he must get rid of Prince XII but his plan is foiled as the butler Smithee thinks he has rescued him when he finds none other than our beloved Garfield; and of course the Prince is found by Jon and Liz. So the story continues as Garfield, in his usual crazy way saves the day.
How could anyone not love this little guy and all his antics? He is just so cute and funny. This might be a retold story that we have heard before but it sure takes on a new light when Garfield and his crew are the main characters. It's a chuckle a minute and just plain fun for the entire family. You will enjoy this one.

This sprightly, sardonic sequel to <I>Bring It On</I> has little connection to the Kirsten Dunst comedy, but is a lot of fun on its own terms. Freshman Whittier (Anne Judson-Yager) arrives at California State University in Los Angeles intent on auditioning for the cheerleading squad. Discovering student life to be a mix of the mundane (dumb football players) and iconoclastic (sundry militants), she buddies up with a former rival (Faune Chambers), for comfort, and gets an easygoing boyfriend (Richard Lee Jackson). But after impressing the shrewish head cheerleader, Tina (Bree Turner), with her astonishing agility, Whittier is lured to campus celebrity and briefly loses her head--and friends. After wising up, Tina dismisses Whittier from the squad, forcing the outcast to start a rival (and much sexier) cheerleading crew. Broad performances, particularly Turner's monstrous child of privilege, make <I>Bring It On Again</I> worth a visit. <I>--Tom Keogh</I>
Customer Reviews:
Ideal For A Really Sadistic Re-Gifter.......2006-12-10
It's hard to believe that any movie industry professionals were actually associated with straight-to-video production "Bring It On Again" (2004). Although a sequel, it is more like a really painful blend of "Revenge of the Nerds" and "Cadet Kelly".
Despite the warnings I actually watched my soon to be re-gifted DVD. Anne Judson-Yager (who looks like Reese Witherspoon plus 30 pounds) plays new college freshman and aspiring cheerleader Whittier Smith. She and her friend Monica (Faune A. Chambers) pass the audition and come under the scrutiny of sadistic head cheerleader Tina Hammersmith (Bree Turner). They soon tire of life under Tina and form a rival cheerleading squad of fine arts students and campus radicals. Despite a host of available movie stereotypes the screenwriter can't seem to figure out how to portray this crowd and you actually feel embarrassed for the actors who must deal with these portions of her script. Production design, style, and unity are apparently unknown elements to director Damon Santostefano (unsuccessfully seeking work since making this movie) and the whole thing seems randomly thrown together. It must have been an assembly nightmare for the editor, who may or may not share some of the blame-it's hard to tell.
I'm at somewhat of a loss as to the target demographic for "Bring It On Again". These things tend to be pitched to producers for their sexploitation potential. And in this case they could at least count on a pre-sold sexploitation audience of original "Bring It On" fans. But the only tie with the original is the subject of cheerleading and those looking for sexploitation elements will be disappointed.
My guess is that the target audience is actually preteen girls. The script is certainly on that age and sophistication level. The male members of the cast appear to have been selected for their looks (certainly not their acting skills) while the female members are a dreary looking bunch (although their limited acting skills are well-matched with those of the male cast). When your leading lady looks like Judson-Yager and your only really pretty actress is cast as the cheer squad's towel girl; alarm bells should start sounding for those outside this target demographic. I bet the producers wish that they had heard those bells and monitored this project a little closer.
Then again, what do I know? I'm only a child.
Better than the first and third!.......2006-08-28
Bring it on again rocks!!! People bag it. It is totally the best bring it on film out of the lot. It is better than the new one. And better than the first.
Bad not horrible.......2006-08-12
Yeah, it's pretty bad. The first and third are waaay better. The second one has lame jokes, is boring, and did I mention it had lame jokes? Not funny, not entertaining. If you really have nothing better to do, then pop this in your DVD player.
Bring it on is soooo much better then the so called 'sequel!'.......2006-07-15
I think that Bring it on Again is a really bad movie, not to mention the boringness in it. The reason I have given it a 2 out of 5 stars is bcuz it was plain boring. I mean who would wanna watch a movie like this? Firstly actors werent hot like the the people in the first movie. There wasnt any one there that made the movie any better or any more fun to watch. The rest of it was pretty boring! Secondly, the movie was way boring coz the stars were practically anonomous! And they still are! Thirdly the movie just wasnt as fun as the first one. I mean the cheers in this movie isnt even that good. And u wouldnt repeat the cheers after the movie unlike the first movie, after an hour u would still think of the cheers and say it to urself. Maybe even copy them and use it for ur own team! And there werent any 'higher stakes, hotter grooves or any more attitude! ' It doesnt even have hotter grooves or moves and the person who created the cover must be crazy becuz there is NOT any more attitude! So over all this movie is not worth watching bcuz its really boring and its just doesnt have as much groove as the first movie. I have to say, no offence to the whole cast or anything.. but this is the worst sequel to a great movie ive ever watched!
How Did it Go Wrong?.......2005-11-28
The movie so many enjoyed, Bring It On was great, but I wouldn't recommend watching this one. The theme, cheerleading, was the same but everything else was worse. The movie started out with cheerleading captain, Tina, being someone everyone idolized, yet Tina was mean to the point of open violence, not even artificial all the time, and yet in power. Severe plot flaw? The script was honestly terrible, with terrible character development, a plot that didn't hang together, and a disappointing ending.
When you see Tina, you automatically form a dislike of her that increases throughout the movie. She openly bullies others, and loses her temper, as well as makes vengeful glares after finishing cheers which are spotlighted on TV. Yet nobody seems to notice. You see an easy, plain routine the night before the playoff and an elaborate, advanced one the day of it. How could that happen while the team was asleep? The ending occurs just after the climax, which makes the entire movie seem like a 30 minute clip. What happened to the resolution? Oh, it went into the mean, snobby and proud Tina begging to be part of the team she openly hated, the one a girl who couldn't stand her anymore created. That was maybe the last minute, and after all that action, it went directly into the credits.
This was an overall disappointing movie that leaves you feeling empty and longing for the much more satisfying "Bring it on" without the 'again.'

Description
Harry is a former boy band idol who is watching his younger brother Max follow in his footsteps. Harry escorts Max on a long-promised camping adventure to the San Gabriel mountains above Los Angeles, but things quickly turn serious as the boys discuss Harrys contradictory relationship with their family. Maxs longing to connect with Harry both physically and emotionally grows even more, wanting to bring stability to Harrys life. In an effort to create a type of alternative family for his brother, Max goads Harry to rekindle his affections for his former girlfriend, Nikki. Back from the weekend, Max realizes that he must redefine his relationship with his brother.
Customer Reviews:
Too weird..........2007-03-28
This movie is all about Max. Harry is cute. Max is okay, but would look better with shorter hair. They're brothers...in love. Harry likes to get drunk. Max is confused. There is no graphic sex...as a matter of fact, you never see anything...just suggestive...which is fine. But the movie is a bit creepy due to the incest thing.
The movie never really goes anywhere, which is why it was such a disappointment. The acting was okay. The dialog was mediocre. You learn that Max and Harry have had sex before. Then Max has sex with Harry's old girlfriend. Then Harry has sex with Max's old boyfriend. Then Harry wants to have sex with both Max and Max's current boyfriend. Sound like a soap opera?
We rented it, but we both felt that it was a waste of our time. So, we wouldn't rent it again, and we wouldn't think of buying it.
Brotherly Love.......2007-03-26
"Harry and Max"
Brotherly Love
Amos Lassen and Cinema Pride
There has been a great deal said about "Harry and Max" (TLA Releasing) because of its controversial story line--two brothers in love---but I want to add my opinion to some of the issues raised. Let me start off by saying that the movie is not bad and it is not good but it could have been either. Harry is Max's brother and seven years his senior and both boys are involved with music. On a camping trip to the mountains the two discuss their feelings and this is exactly what the movie is about--dealing with feelings and self acceptance. The two brothers are in love and do not know how to deal with it.
The film is intense--deeply so and it is extremely insightful as it looks at fraternal love and romance and the limits we place on ourselves and the ones we ultimately meet. It is a small film and one that I am amazed was ever made. The main theme of brotherly incestuous love never seems to be completely fulfilled and I found myself with many questions after watching the movie.
Bryce Johnson is Harry and Cole Williams is Max. (Remember Paul Williams who wrote all those songs for the Carpenters? Cole is his son.) They are totally engaging but hard to believe as brothers in love even though they are quite good actors. What we see s indeed thought provoking. Max admits freely that he is gay and he does not hide that he loves Harry, his brother--both romantically and fraternally. It appears that Harry feels the same way but knows that this is wrong. He cannot bring himself to commit--neither brother really can.
Through various attempts to have sexual relations with other people, the guys remain in love with each other but the results prove disastrous for them and whatever the message of this movie seems to be, it is lost because the script wanders and does not really face the issue head on. Much of the movie is realistic but the problem here is that references are made to incidents in the brothers' past that we, as viewers, are not let into. References are vague and the only hint that we see fulfilled is a time when the guys actually made love while on vacation. Yet much of the background information is not included in the film and many times we are left hanging. The one issue that bothered me the most was to watch how hard Max pushed to maintain a relationship with his brother yet finds another male lover with whom he is completely satisfied.
This is a very different kind of movie as it looks at love and affection in a way most of us are uncomfortable with. But on the plus side I must say that the chemistry between the actors is wonderful and the subject of incest is compelling and convincing. There are problems with continuity in the film and it depends a little too much on narration and not enough on action. The final sequence is not only disappointing but it just doesn't seem to fit.
The movie is not just about brotherly incest. It looks at a relationship that is more extensive than incest and this relationship portrays the contradictions and complexities of most familial relationships. Harry and Max have a mysterious relationship; we do not see them as friends and their connection, although somewhat strong sexually, is delicate otherwise.
The main action takes place when the two boys set out on their camping trip and Harry is twenty-three and Max is sixteen. The bond between the two had always been close and there had once been incestuous sex. Max wants it to happen again but Harry refuses and frustration ensues. The real irony here is that Max, the younger, is the more focused and responsible brother and Harry, the workaholic and once alcoholic, is deceitful and reckless.
The script for the movie is intelligent and clever even with the pronounced omissions and I loved the performances. The ending, again, does not satisfy and takes us by surprise. But the final scene does show the evolving nature of love and how we must constantly re-evaluate the definition. The movie, all in all, is touching and while it is not the movie it could have been is an effort not likely forgotten.
It's Hard to Believe I Watched It All.......2007-03-07
Controversial story line does not make up for bad writing. It did have a great idea behind it, but the below-par acting and horrible plot destroy any hopes for in-depth analysis of the characters and situation.
Please pass this one by....there are much better ones out there.
A Different Spin on "Brotherly Love".......2006-12-01
Harry and Max wasn't a bad movie, it just wasn't very good either. Harry is Max's older brother, by about 7 years. Both boys are in the music business, although that aspect of the movie is barely touched upon.
The 2 meet up, the viewer assumes after several years apart, and take off for a camping trip in the mountains. Quickly out from the cold and into a tent they go. Max quickly and clearly makes his love for his older brother Harry known. The 2 discuss their first encounter about 2 years earlier, in I believe the Bahamas, or Bermuda. It doesn't matter where, but we hear about it a few times.
Over 60 minutes later, and we have met a few friends, an older lover / friend Max once had, and their mother. Other then Harry and Max, all the other parts are minor ones. The focus in the movie is 2 guys dealing with sexual feelings for each other, both sort of afraid of coming out completely. And needless to say, the "taboo" of being brothers in love. If the story was really captivating, then we might be inclined to strike up a conversation on that topic. In comparison, also watch "L.I.E." or "Eban and Charley" if you want some controversy. Harry and Max is a bit too clean-cut, and kind of boring.
With but 10 minutes left in the film, we jump several calendar years, and several light years in the story ahead. The end is so disconnected from the first hour of the film, one is left going "huh, where the heck did this come from?"
All that said, the characters are good, the filming and sound are excellent for what appears to be a low-budget film. But I've seen many a low-budget film, and this one lacked the story line to keep me involved. The acting and direction just missed the mark. I couldn't connect with the characters on a deeper level. Certainly the angst Max feels about being gay is very real for a 16 year old coming of age, and in the spotlight, although, once again, we never really saw either of them in the spotlight. I found Max's character the strongest in the film, for the most part. Harry was a bit out there at times.
I reiterrate, it wasn't a bad film, and I would never say "don't see it"; just don't expect to feel moved by emotion, happy or sad. I laughed a few times, but I don't think that was intended in the movie.
On a plus note, the DVD has a nice behind-the-scenes film, which makes me (the reviewer) feel bad about not being able to give the film a better rating. But I prefer honesty.
A 'Wow' Movie.......2006-09-10
I read the reviews, I read the case, I thought I knew what I was getting in to. Wrong. This film is intense, and it is far more insightful then I expected. It examines the whole idea of love, fraternal, romantic, and the limits we meet. It also takes some of those erotic fantasies that get put in front of us on a regular basis and shows that they come with a very dark side and huge cost.
I have passed my copy among a number of friends. They have differing takes on the film, but none have regretted watching it.

Description
Clare Kramer of TV's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" stars as Taylor Brooks, a sexy, young undergrad who is determined to become the first female member of the secret Skulls society. After she coerces the Council into including her in the initiation rites of the elite brotherhood, Taylor soon finds herself engulfed in a sinister world of deception, intimidation and murder.
Customer Reviews:
Clare Kramer lifts this one.......2007-05-25
I bought this one only because I saw gravedancers and I thought Clare Kramer was good in that. I did not see the second Skulls movie, but I thought the first one was okay. (not great - just okay). This was a decent movie if you want to kill a couple hours. It is pretty predictable and the resolution is obvious early on, but it is fairly entertaining. Clare (who is in virtually the entire movie) does a good job carrying the film, although for all her character's struggles with conscience and the tragedies that have led her to this point, I thought she was kind of shallow when she got what she wanted. She was also a bit unbelievable as the most competent of the pledges trying to make it into the Skulls. She was the best man in the group. I don't see those guys as the future movers and shakers of America. Barry Bostwick was solid and the rest of the cast did a decent job. I would recommend this movie based on an interesting (if not completely original) concept, sincere acting, and a lack of bad language. I've never been one who thought that foul language just for the sake of foul language added anything to a film. It's nice when you find a film that doesn't abuse it.
[Out of Five] Not bad, Clare Kramer is fine, but..........2006-06-29
This Series is running out of steam. See
it on TV if you can, but see the first 2
in the Series first (Who's?) Barry Bostwick
[he's better in Leslie Nielsen's 'Spy Hard]
is also diabolical in here about Fraternity
boss who has plan to infiltrate his Co. into
US Military with help of CLare's father - until
killed by his son (!) at the end. Good ending!
Don't waste your time..........2006-06-11
If you're a guy, the only real highpoint of this movie is Clare Kramer, although the the character that she plays is rather self-righteous and annoying.
The thing that gets me about this movie is the fact that her character is really indignent that such sexist group like the Skulls is allowed to opperate on campus, but when they relent and allow her to joing, she has no problem with becoming a member of an elitist secret society. That's modern feminism for you, I guess.
Story wise, this movie isn't all that thrilling, and to say that it isn't predictable would would be rather deceptive. There's just nothing about this movie--aside from Claire Kramer--really worth talking about, and there is no way that I'd ever recommend it.
NUMB SKULLS.......2005-11-06
Clare Kramer's passionate and controlled performance elevates this SKULLS entry, possibly the most effective of the trilogy. She plays the daughter of a former Skulls member who challenges their "no female" rule and manages to get herself inducted into the secret covert society. As in the other two SKULLS, a murder occurs with the requisite coverup and it's up to Kramer to expose the organization. The movie has some tense moments and avoids some tired cliches of the other two. Bryce Johnson is the sleazy Roger, and his involvement in the scam is surprisingly resolved. Vets Barry Bostwick and Len Cariou round out the cast and while everything's fairly predictable, a few twists at the end are refreshing.
Oh, Don't Bother ... Just Another One with a Female Lead.......2004-12-12
Claire Kramer (TV's 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and one of the cheerleaders in 'Bring it On') takes the lead of this new sequel to 'The Skulls.' The story about the secret society is not much different this time though, except one thing; instead of a male, a female student delves into the underground world ruled by Barry Bostwick (TV's 'Spin City').
In fact, little difference can be found, compared with the first Skull film featuring Joshua Jackson, so it's more like a retread of the original rather than a sequel. You get a curious, and very ambitious female student in college, who because of her personal reasons is willing to be a member of the secret society. She takes no for answer, as you see, and uses her knowledge about laws to have the authority bend the rules.
And ... if you think there's more to it, you're utterly mistaken. The rest of the film goes on the beaten road, with the 'trails,' 'branding' etc., and finally you see a bloody crime committed. Though Claire Kramer is surprisingly good, the film remains so predictable and unexciting.
The first film had a curiosity value, when you see the thinly-disguised references to Yale, and the real-life Skull and Bones society, even though the film seems to have taken much liberty with the facts (whatever they may be). Now it's just another tired thriller with cliched items. If you have seen the first one, just skip this.

A breezy exercise in "Latina Lib," <I>Chasing Papi</I> is a premarital variant of <I>The First Wives Club</I>, with enough jiggle to compete with <I>Charlie's Angels</I> and Victoria's Secret. The sexy fun begins when well-meaning Latino lover Tomás (Eduardo Verastegui) is confronted by the three girlfriends he's been wooing while traveling on business: Miami cocktail waitress Cici (Sofia Vergara), New York heiress Patricia (Jaci Velasquez), and Chicago attorney Lorena (Roselyn Sanchez) have discovered Tomás's infidelity, and they're primed for payback. Their romantic revenge involves a contrived subplot of drug money, inept criminals, and a gorgeous FBI agent (Lisa Vidal), but it's the allied girlfriends who steal this dim-witted fashion show. The female costars (all veterans of Spanish-language soap operas) are smart, sassy, and incredibly attractive, and director Linda Mendoza (herself a TV graduate, making her feature debut) keeps the comedy on an even, good-natured keel. The laughs are sporadic at best, but <I>Chasing Papi</I> is a bubbly babe-fest that either gender can appreciate. <I>--Jeff Shannon</I>
Description
Handsome advertising executive Tomas "Papi" Fuentes (Eduardo Verastegui) is truly, deeply in love?with three gorgeous women in three different cities. There's prim-and-proper Patricia (Jaci Velasquez) in New York, lovely Lorena (Roselyn Sanchez) in Chicage, and spicy Cici (Sofia Vergara) in Miami. But when all three arrive in L.A. to surprise Papi at home, the situation doesn't just heat up, it explodes! Filled with beautiful bodies, hip Latin rhythms and plenty of passion, Chasing Papi will leave you cheering!
Customer Reviews:
Entertaining.......2007-01-09
I can't say this is one of my favorite movies but I did enjoy watching it. It had some laughs behind it and some crazy little things here and there. If you want to watch a movie of 3 beautiful women fighting for the love of one man and you want to see what women are capable of doing, then you want to watch this!
Cute.......2006-12-26
Cute movie the first time you watch it. But after one or two sittings, you'll get bored of this one. It's too sad, actually - but what can you do? Not all movies can keep you glued to the telly no matter how many times you've seen it before.
Decent film, pretty ladies, but obvious and sometimes dull.......2006-11-30
CHASING PAPI has good and bad points. It puts cartoons and music to effective use, and there's some funny satire.
Of course, as others have commented, the big plus is its beautiful ladies. Men may enjoy discussing which of the three women Papi should have chosen. Roselyn Sanchez is my personal favorite.
But at least for me, this film got boring. Perhaps because there wasn't much substance to it. When I felt I was an hour into the film, I checked the timer and saw that only 38 minutes had gone by. The film is only about 75 minutes long (not including credits) but it felt much longer.
The jokes are tame. Those who prefer MONTY PYTON or SOUTH PARK may not find CHASING PAPI too funny.
Worse, this film suffers from what I call "ethnic sitcom disease." You know, when a producer makes a show about a previously unfilmed ethnic group. We see a (Korean, Latino, black, etc.) family, and their home is full of ethnic posters and artwork related to that ethnicity, and the jokes and wisecraks all revolve around celebrities who share that ethnicity, as though people of that ethnic group spend all their time talking about issues related to their ethnic group.
CHASING PAPI feels like an "official latin film," in that the filmmaker felt the need to pass along some messages about latinos. For instance, Cici is constantly harping on how Patricia is "ashamed to be a Latina" because of her "fake eyes" (i.e., colored contact lens). But this makes no sense, because Cici appears to dye her hair blond. Sure, some latinas have blond hair, but some also have blue eyes. What's the big deal?
For that matter, Cici's latin accent seems overdone. I know she's latin, but she also speaks English well. Yet in her role, she occassionally slips into a pronounced latin accent. And because it's only occassional, it seems unnatural to her character; as an affectation done to remind the viewer that Cici is latin.
The dialogue as a whole is obvious and not too funny. A collection of ethnic observations, feminist statements, and repetative snipes at each
other.
Even so, the film is fluffy and well-intentioned. The women are pretty and likeable. I was also pleased that Tomas was not villainized. When I read the description, I worried that I was in for some feminist male-bashing, but that proved not to be the case.
It's a sometimes enjoyable film, although not edgy "laugh out loud" comedy.
Strange but Entertaining.......2006-03-26
I bought the Walter Mercado DVD, which I have reviewed elsewhere, I also saw this DVD and figured my wife would like it. It is a strange little movie, but entertaining. Once again Walter Mercado, even with his brief appearance, seemed to steel the show (at least for my wife). Maria Conchita Alonso, is cute, so it is worth the $9 we paid.
For The Latina Lover In All Of Us.......2006-01-07
Look at the DVD cover. If you like the cover, you'll like the movie. This film has assembled an amazing bevy of Latina beauties that is truly mindboggling. I'm not talking about just the three women on the cover (Roselyn Sanchez, Sophia Vergara and Jaci Velasquez). That's only the beginning. Just to name a few, your television screen will be graced by the likes of; Lisa Vidal, Nicole Scherizinger and Ivette Sosa (both formly of Eden's Crush), Joy Enriquez and Sandra Ramirez (my personal favorite). How's that for a line-up and still there's more.
Oh yea, I almost forgot to mention the plot. Young, successful guy tries to juggle three girlfriends at the same time. I bet you've never heard that one before have you? On second thought, forget about the plot, just sit back and enjoy the scenery.
By the way, for all the ladies out there's also Eduardo Verastequi in the cast to peek your interest.

Good, Lighthearted family drama.......2007-01-19
Farrah Fawcett stars as Frannie a carefree, frivolous and fun woman who returns home to Silk Hope on her Mother's passing. The movie portrays her attempts to hold on to the family home (her sister and fiance want to sell it) whilst learning to be responsible and changing as a person.
The movie is light hearted with some genuinely funny moments, (Frannie and the pigs), pathos, and drama. Farrah Fawcett is wonderful and is abley supported by Brad Johnson as the love interest.
Worthwhile.
Wholesome .......2007-01-04
I liked the movie because the entire family could watch - for a change, there was no nudity, profanity, etc., thank goodness! I liked the evolution of Fawcett's character, you gathered that she had been and still was, to an extent, conflicted, but evolved to be quite genuine and likeable. I loved the warmness and sensitivity portrayed by Brad Johnson's character (the strong, yet sensitive male). Bottom line the movie was wholesome, man, woman, love..... I even liked the theme song, I think it's called "Carolina Skies". Anyone know where I can get a copy?
Buy this DVD!!! LOL.......2007-01-04
This is a wonderful movie. Farrah Fawcett is absolutely beautiful and superb in this film. I love the down home story line, I love the way Farrah plays "Frannie" in the film. It's a true feel-good movie that your whole family can enjoy.
Better than Expected.......2004-12-20
I liked this movie. When I saw the title and read the short blurb in the movie description, and being fans of Farrah, my wife and I decided to watch it. We liked it. It had a plot, character developement, and good dialogue. We were disappointed in the accident scene as we felt it did not seem to picture the extent of the inuury. One person's character was transparent enough that both my wife and I guessed ahead of time about him. The story also showed how motive and a goal can change a person such as wanting to keep the farm kept Frannie to her task. And she falls in love to boot. It is a decent movie and one we would recommend to anyone who wants to watch and enjoy a wholesome movie and is also a fan of Farrah's. This review is based on the movies shown on TV.
Good Movie........2003-12-05
Very cute Light hearted drama/comedy. Frannie returns home to the town of Silk Hope in one of the Carolinas after her dissapearing to god knows where for three months or so, she finds that things have changed; Her mom has passed away, Her sister wants to sell the House and Farm in which she has grown up on. Frannie realizes that she needs to "TRY" and become a responsible person so that she can buy out her sister's half of the house and Farm because she feels it should remain in the family. The comedy in this movie is that Frannie has a very hard time trying to remain focused on being responsible. Also Frannie for the first time finds herself falling in love, also decides on a whim to pig farm, and in the meanwhile she tries scaring away potential buyers of her land. I think Farrah shines in this movie. By the end of the movie Frannie is not the only person who grows up, Each character involved receives a positive impact set by Frannie's will and determination. Great Picture Quality DVD. No extras, just Scene index and Play. (this was a television movie, so therefore only in Full Screen). Enjoy!! :)
