Product Description
In this exclusive 83 minute DVD premiere, featuring brand new, never before seen content, Stewie, the maniacal baby genius, is distracted from his plans for world domination when he sees a man who looks just like him on television. Convinced that this man must be his real father (after all, how could he possibly share genetic material with the dimwitted Peter?), Stewie sets off on a cross-country road trip to find him. But his incredible journey leads him to discoveries far more vile and shocking that anything found in his diaper.

For Family Guy fans, there are no freakin' sweeter words than "Never Before Seen." A triumphant homecoming for the Griffins, Stewie Griffin is not so much a movie as it is a not-yet-aired three-episode story arc enhanced with a home-video-exclusive "red carpet premiere" prologue and an epilogue (capped, of course, with a fart joke). Family Guy's resurrection is a television miracle, and its creators have rewarded the faithful by picking up right where they left off, offending any and all sensibilities (recasting Jesus as comic magician Art Metrano), dissing the celebrity disenfranchised (Ellen Cleghorne references, anyone?), and generally taking potshots at anyone on their enemies list (Stewie breaks the neck of a reporter for Entertainment Weekly, the magazine that once called Family Guy "the Awful Show They Just Keep Putting on the Air"). The Untold Story! is a star vehicle for Family Guy 's breakout character, in which the mega maniacal and matricidal infant has a Grinch-like change of heart after a near-death experience (and a disturbing encounter with Steve Allen in Hell) and, more life-altering, discovers a football-pated man who could be his father (the truth is more shocking!). As go the gags, so goes Family Guy, and there are enough good ones here to compensate for the many misfires. The Miller-esque (as in Dennis) penchant for channeling arcane pop culture can grow tiresome. But for those who do remember the words to the Who's the Boss theme song, know (or still care) who Steve Bartman is, and are always up for "a sexy party," this will be the greatest story ever untold. --Donald Liebenson

Does this really need a review?.......2007-05-10
A great feature presentation of arguably the best comedy animation series ever made.
The good, the bad and the hilarious .......2007-05-04
"Stewie Griffin - The Untold Story" is a big, colorful and tasty collection of everything we love about Family Guy (and I mean, certainly, open-mindness... and fart jokes). Don't miss nearly 90 minutes of insane Family Guy laughs, all combined in this work of genius. Join Stewie in his time-travel to the future, watch Cris grow even more fatter and Meg become a guy, and Stew himself - a 30 year old virgin.
Yawn........2007-05-02
Honestly, I only bought this because I heard that a David Bowie character appeared in it. When I actually watched it, I was saddened to see that it was just a few Family Guy episodes (rather boring ones, to tell the truth) that I had already seen strung together. I wouldn't say it's worth 20 bucks, but if you feel the need to watch this and you're a big Family Guy fan, go ahead, if you must...
Family Guy: The Movie Review .......2007-03-13
I saw separate pecies of this movie on TV and I must say that I am somewhat impressed. There are laughs and misses on this movie. I enjoyed most of the movie except the flashbacks and other off topic sequences. Some of them are funny at first and then get annoying. I wish I would have watched the movie on its DVD because I bet there were things on it that TV wouldn't show. So I guess if people are going to see this movie on TV I would read this review, but if you're going to rent it or buy it, I would rather read another one.

Too funny...Stewie is my favorite .......2007-03-09
Forgot about the Simpsons...Family guy is so funny and this dvd will crack you up. I caught myself saying "oh wow did they really say that?"...through out the entire thing. Definately recommend this one.

Kirsten Dunst (BRING IT ON), Sisqo, and Ben Foster (TV's FREAKS AND GEEKS) shine in this hilariously hip comedy! After Berke (Foster) gets dumped by Allison, the hottest girl in school, he'll do anything to get her back! Against the advice of his buddies Dennis (Sisqo) and Felix (Colin Hanks -- THAT THING YOU DO!), Berke desperately follows Allison into the high school play! But when he's inept onstage, Berke gets bailed out by his friend's little sister (Dunst) ... who just might be the one to help him get over Allison! Also featuring Martin Short (FATHER OF THE BRIDE) and Shane West (DRACULA 2000) -- nothing goes as planned in this entertaining treat!
Customer Reviews:
Fun teen movie.......2007-05-10
I didn't have great expectations for this movie. I figured it would be just another teen movie. However, "Get Over It" totally went above and beyond my expectations.
Kirsten Dunst is gorgeous as Kelly, the true talent in the play. Shane West plays the villian incredibly well, and although you love him, you really want him to lose in the end. Martin Short is hilarious and a laugh a minute, and the supporting cast all do a very good job of keeping you entertained. Ben Foster does a great job as the slacker trying to win his girlfriend back.
I truly would love to see a live showing of "A Midsummer Night's Rocking Eve" if ever available. From the random songs to the entertaining dances put together by Dr. Desmond Forrest Oakes, I'm sure it would prove to be a very entertaining night.
Watch this movie, and then watch it again. It is funnier each time you watch it.
A Decent Teen Movie.......2007-04-08
Get Over It is a cute, yet fairly predictable, teen movie. The good cast helps make it different from the other teen movies. What it lacked in plot originality, it make up for in the look and feel of the movie. I think it would have been a better movie if had been from Kirsten Dunst's (who shined brighter than any of the others) point of view,, instead of Ben Foster's, who is good in his role too. Still, if you are looking for a cute, fun, mindless movie to watch, this is a good one to pick. If only to see the costumes, set, the performance of Kirsten Dunst (and her singing!) and Vitamin C at the end. 3.75/5 stars
Get Over It.......2005-07-20
It is ok for preteens it is a musical, funny. I would recommend it.
Oddly charming.......2005-07-12
While there are moments where this film gets bogged down in the traditional teen comedy pitfalls- gross-out humor and over-the-top sexual antics - it really is very clever and funny. Martin Short's name-dropping, weirdo drama coach reminds me of waaay too many people I knew in college. Shane West's take on an accent-faking recovering boy band member is hilarious. And, Lord help me, I even liked some of the musical numbers. Some of them.
I don't know if I'd let my tweenage daughter watch it, but it's certainly safer than "American Pie" or "Scary Movie."
A hilarious teen comedy.......2005-05-09
I'm not a big fan of teen comedies, because they usually tend to be the same. So what made me buy GET OVER IT! without even seeing it? I have no idea. But I'm really glad that I did, and I fell in love with the movie after watching it for the first time.
GET OVER IT! is a great mix of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and a fun story about a group of friends (much like "10 Things I Hate About You"). Berke's girlfriend Allison just broke up with him, and he's determined to get her back, especially when she starts dating the new guy in school. Berke thinks that he'll win her over if he decides to be in the school musical, A Midsummer's Rockin' Eve. Of course, the movie also has parties, gross-out jokes, practically naked women, and lots of sex talk, but somehow, it ends up being hysterical.
Highlights of GET OVER IT! are definately the opening credits, with Vitamin C "performing" the song 'Love Will Keep Us Together;' Martin Short, who is absolutely hysterical as Dr. Desmond Forrest Oates, the drama teacher; the Martin Short outtakes, which show how he improvised almost all of his lines; and the music videos/musical performances. Highly recommended to fans of "10 Things I Hate About You" or "American Pie."

Get ready for king-sized laughs with Disney's brand-new sequel to the colossal movie hit, HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS. A tiny glitch causes Wayne, his brother, and their wives to shrink big time! Soon, they must brave household insects the size of dinosaurs, a treacherous loop-the-loop track in a toy race car, dizzying "balloon" rides inside soap bubbles, and more! Meanwhile, thinking they have the house all to themselves, the kids get into mega-mischief -- never guessing their pint-sized parents are watching their every move! With amazing special effects and nonstop excitement, HONEY, WE SHRUNK OURSELVES is a hilarious, heartwarming, hugely entertaining adventure for the entire family!
Customer Reviews:
Third Time is not as much of a Charm.......2005-11-09
Remember the funny movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids," and the almost as funny "Honey, I Blew Up the Kid?" Well, this movie is much like those. Except in this movie there is a different wife. Oh; and there are kids missing. And now Wayne Szalinski's (Rick Moranis) brother Gordon (Stuart Pankin) has appeared. Perhaps this movie is not so much like those after all.
We quickly learn that a few things have changed for Wayne since last we visited him. The FDA has forbidden Wayne to use his shrinking machine on people. Wayne is in the process of sending his shrinking machine to the Smithsonian. Wayne and Gordon's wives are heading off to a vacation, leaving Wayne in Gordon in charge of the house.
All initially seems sort of well, except that Wayne wants to shrink a Tiki man that his wife wants to him to throw away. Predictably, something goes wrong and Wayne and Gordon are accidentally shrunk. Shortly thereafter the wives, realizing they forgot to leave medicine behind, return. Soon the wives are accidentally shrunk, and we are once again on a path for a few yucks and a few groans.
This movie is reasonably decent. Much of it seems somewhat of a retread. There are the usual moments of fear as the foursome run from a cockroach and help a daddy longlegs spider, more moments of fun in a ride on a toy car, a dip in the dip, a ride in a soap bubble, and more.
This direct-to-video movie has less imagination than the first two movies. The atmosphere of this 75 minute "full-length" feature is that of a made-for-tv movie. I did enjoy the movie, but I wish I had looked for it in a bargain bin somewhere rather than paying full price.
If you really liked the first two movies, you will likely enjoy this movie. If you cared little for the first two movies, you should avoid this one. Even if you think you might like it, the movie still feels like something made for the Disney channel. Good luck!
HARMLESS RETREAD.......2005-08-21
This direct to video entry in the one-time imaginative series is mildly entertaining, although it is little more than an adult retread of the original. This time Rick Moranis (with a new wife played by Eve Gordon and only one kid this time) shrinks himself, his wife and his brother (Stuart Pankin) and his wife, and they find themselves confronting a giant cockroach as their main enemy, and a cute daddy longlegs helps the mommies out. It's not all that inventive but I found myself chuckling every once in a while. Might entertain the younger set.
3rd (and final) in the series.......2002-10-24
Contrary to popular belief, this is not a new movie. Not at all. This is actually Disney's very first direct-to-video live action films, which was first released in 1997. It did not go over well and has long since been the hardest to find of the trio. Unlike the other two theatrical films, this movie was only ever released in full frame... so us widescreen enthusiasts have nothing to complain about here. What I can complain about is the overall cheap-feeling that this film has. Rick Moranis is the only original character, and the action does not have the epic, theatrical quality of the original films. This feels like a 2-day shoot soundstage production with a very closed-in feeling. It's kind of like taking the first five minutes of "Toy Story," with the army men on the staircase, etc. and extending that claustrophobic feeling for the 65-minute running time. All in all, this most compares to a typical Disney Channel Original Movie. In fact, it's been shown as one ever since its release!! Not exactly a Disney highpoint, collectors will want this third film to complete the collection...

Eric Forman is a typical high school student growing up in Wisconsin in 1976 with his family and his friends. Together, they have the same kind of joys and sorrows that just about every teenager has while growing up. This show parodied many of the attitudes, events and fads of the 70's, along with those who grew up at the time and are now in their 30's-40's.
Customer Reviews:
Sometimes more expensive than the individual seasons.......2007-02-06
"That 70's Show" was great entertainment, especially for those of us who were teenagers during that era, and my four star rating is not a knock on the show. However, the cost of the first five seasons individually is less than what people are generally asking for this set, which is nothing more than the first 5 season DVD sets bundled together. There are no extra features. My opinion is, unless the total price is less than 125 dollars, either buy the sets individually or hold out until all eight seasons have been released and see if they come out with some kind of collector's edition like they did with "Friends". Those tend to be great bargains per season, plus you generally get bonus footage and all kinds of extras. This show is ripe for that kind of treatment. I'm giving 5 stars for the 5 seasons themselves, and 2 stars for the prevailing price of the five season bundle. I round up, and thus my four star rating.
Soooo Embarassing.......2007-02-01
The fact that this show reminds me so much of my life in High School in the Seventies is very embarrassing. That being said... This show is one of the funniest ever on TV. Full of cameos from 70's TV shows, full of references to prevalent illegal activities popular in the era, and of course full of teenage "doofusses", who think they are fooling their parents.
So true to the era, so funny. If you remember it much differently, you probably weren't there!

Customer Reviews:
I liked it........2007-06-10
I know I am way outnumbered here, but I rather enjoyed this movie. Of course it isn't even close to being as good as the first film, but after it was all said and done,..I enjoyed watching this movie. It's just entertainment people!!!!
This is the film that made Patrick Bateman snap........2007-04-05
A debate is raging between myself and a bank teller from across the street about the validity of watching sequels in either the sequential order of release date or in the way that they were semi-intended of viewing (i.e. the prequel to the "Exorcist" prior to the original version of the film ... and that sort of logic). I am a believer of watching the films as they are released, due to the possibility of missing an element that may be voiced or uncovered in future films, he feels differently due to true logic - meaning that there may be no continuity at all, so why put myself through the torture. An interesting thought, but one that I don't quite agree with due to the "American Psycho" theory. This argumentative other believes that you could watch "American Psycho 2" without seeing the original and consider it a viewable film, because you have to disassociate yourself from the original. I disagree for the exact reason that when you attach the title to another film, even if it has nothing to do with the original - you must associate the two. The two must match, gel, or even co-exist AND for me, it is an utter disgrace when the two just fight against each other. This is the battle known as "American Psycho II: All American Girl", and alas, I was caught in the trenches.
For those that are huge fans of the Christian Bale masterpiece should whole heartily avoid this film at all costs. There is nothing, I repeat, nothing connecting these two films together outside of a title and a slight beginning reference to a man that never should have existed in the first place - one elusive Patrick Bateman. From the beginning the story makes no sense, supposed serial killer Patrick Bateman kills again, leaving a small girl to finish what he started. From that point forward, she decides to do whatever it takes to kill/capture all the serial killers of the world - thus becoming one in the process. Again, what should have just been in Bateman's mind destroys the concept that this film is balanced on - so, all we are left with are views, images, goofy music, and acting that honestly came from a Cracker Jack box. Our lead this time is Mila Kunis, of "That 70s Show fame", jumping or should I say "bubbling" right out of her character on FOX to a nearly identical character for this film. Her goal for the film, become William Shatner's teaching assistant so that she can get into Quantico and thus fulfilling her dreams to capture serial killers. What actually happens in the film is that she kills everyone in her way (everyone else is oblivious to the pile of bodies) to get that respected position. Nobody is safe, and as we prepare for the ending, a twist so predictable is thrown our way that we could care less about her, the story, or the semi-terrifying ending. Our only hope is that they decide to end the series with this film. What could the story be next? Patrick Bateman's ghost returns for more non-existent killing?
From every angle of this film, I was disgraced. I was such an enormous fan of the original film (the insanity, the characters, the violence), that to be handed a stick of bubble gum after eating veal just felt insulting. There are those that actually enjoyed this film, which just boggles my mind. How could anyone, either a fan of the original or not, enjoy this cookie-cutter film? In the commentary, director Morgan J. Freeman even admits to being a "director-for-hire", which means the story was already in place all he needed to do was put that "direct-to-video" feel to it, and it was ready for packaging, sealing, and delivery to those unsuspecting viewers who were tied into just the title. Nothing worked in this film. The music took me away from the horrors that were happening, and made me feel that I was camping at a carnival. The selection made me want to shake my hips and chew some bubble gum (odd, this is transforming into a theme to this film). The cinematography was juvenile at best. Errors erupted with leaps and bounds, and again, during the commentary the director wasn't afraid to point them out. From these low points, the only place to go was further down with acting that somehow connected well to the carnival music. Shatner tried his best, but just couldn't pull off the womanizing teacher with connections to Quantico. The chemistry between him and the other ladies felt scripted and old. In just a short twenty days, one probably doesn't have the chance to get to know the rest of your cast, so just read your lines and pray for the best. For those wondering how Kunis did with this role, just listen to her in the commentary. Pathetic would be a good word, amateur would be another, and just to give you that third scoop, she was unbelievable at best. Freeman attempted to make her this convincing detail oriented killer, with a killer body, but the result was anything but scary - in fact - one could go so far to say that it was "killer funny". Can I say it one more time? Nothing in this film worked. I don't mean to be lacking detail, but from the initial scene it was obvious that we were on a downward path - did Morgan J. Freeman even see the original?
I have no sympathy for this film. "American Psycho II: All American Girl" was a debauchery to the series, to the words that Bret Easton Ellis put on the page, and to cinema itself. I have no respect for those that say that this should not be paired with the original, but instead should just be watched on its own. The original "American Psycho" was well acted, nail-bitingly genre bending, and continually asks me to question the value of a male dominated workplace on Wall Street. In the original, the question became what happens to a man that has everything - in the sequel, the question transforms into "What would a girl do to get everything?" The themes are even the same. This film is a prime example of Hollywood looking to capitalize on a cult film by merely selling the title. Oh, what a horrid experiment gone wrong.
If you wanted a cheap version of the original, I suggest this one. It contains no artistic value, no moral thought-provoking moments, and definitely nothing that could be called unique or creative. The word original was never in Morgan J. Freeman's dialog. Listen to the audio commentary if you don't believe me, these Freeman and Kunis give hope to the aspiring director (who doesn't mind selling out for a paycheck) as well as a disgraceful taste to the human race.
This was cheap - with a capital C.

Train Wreck Of A Movie.... {2 Stars}.......2007-03-01
I can't really add much to the reviews. I mean, 76 reviews and a 2 star average. I think that speaks for itself. I only sat through this tripe because I think Mila Kunis is incredibly hot. Even that wasn't enough to keep me from trading it in for store credit. I gave it 2 stars for having Mila in it, but it's really a 1 star release.
Avoid avoid avoid.
Worse movie ever. Why did i bother ?.......2007-02-01
Patrick Bateman is dead, but his evil legacy continues with Rachael Newman (Mila Kunis), the only victim who managed to escape Bateman's grasp. Rachael will get rid of anyone who threatens her chances of becoming teaching assistant to the infamous Dr. Daniels, a professor and former FBI profiler. In a world where the stakes are higher and sex can kill, terror lurks in the new American Psycho.
Rather than trying to pick up where American Psycho left off, this sequel goes a different route by focusing on a whole new cast of characters. If you didn't already know, the first movie was based on the controversial book of the same name by author Bret Easton Ellis, who had no involvment what-so-ever in the making of this movie (he never wrote a sequel). Sadly, the movie is terrible, trite, and overall, a failure. Where the book (and, to a certain degree, the first movie) take a satirical view of the yuppie-laden 80s, this movie simply tries to be a violence-driven psycho-thriller, and loses all the ambience Ellis created for the original story. It's headlining star, Mila Kunis (better known for her role as Jackie in That 70s Show) does her best to deliver her role as a college student fascinated by serial killers, and determined to make her way into the FBI's training academy.
But her flat, un-emotional performance really only contributes to the movie's overall shortcomings, rather than attaining it's probable goal of setting her up as a student driven to succeed, even at the cost of becoming exactly what she intends to stop as a future FBI agent. This movie is a good waste of time, and may be worth renting if you really can't find anything else to watch. But be forwarned, fans of the original movie, and especially of Ellis' book will be especially dissapointed. There are certainly far worse movies from the same year than this, but that doesn't make this one any more capable of standing out. Sadly, Ellis' books simply don't translate well to film, they lose to much in the transer. But this flick goes a step beyond that by trying to make a sequel to an Ellis book, without actually having one of Ellis' writings to draw from
If you like american psycho... don't buy this.......2006-12-27
I watched this in hopes of seeing something similar to american psycho.. This movie was a joke... I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone who anticipates any kind of sequel to the orignal. Don't waste 3 bucks renting it... or heaven forbid buying it.... what a waste of time

Some Classics Weren't Meant To Be Tampered With.......2003-11-08
The original "Piranha" was an entertaining cult classic but the decision by Roger Corman to remake it, nearly twenty years later, must have entirely been for finacial reasons because this straight-to-video retread is about as half-baked as it gets. Aside from a few changes of some character's ethnicities and gender, this is almost an exact copy of the first film.
As was the case in the original, two troublesome kids decide to go swimming at a government test site and end up "fish food". Enter Alexandra Paul as a very butch-looking P.I. who is hired by one of the kids' legal guardians who also happens to be the owner of a new resort that is opening up. With the help of overacting hillbilly hermit, William Katt, she ends up at the test site and drains the pool causing the piranha to run amok in the local river system. Of course, the greedy resort owner isn't going to let something like giant man-eating killer fish ruin his plans to open his resort.
This new "Piranha" offers very little added value aside from possibly a little bit more gore and nudity but not even enough to really make it worth your while. Of course, we get to see a grown-up "Punky Brewster" as Soleil Moon Frye shows up as a summer camp counselor with Mila Kunis (many years before she broke out on "That 70's Show") as Katt's hydrophobic daughter. Alex Simon's screenplay should barely qualify as a "studio rewrite" as it is practically a word-for-word duplicate of the original John Sayles script. Even worse, the severe overacting of the cast really kills the memorable dialouge. Only Roger Corman would save production costs by recycling the underwater photography from the original for a remake. Needless to say if the producers of this film wouldn't waste their money on it then you probably shouldn't either.
Mini Jaws!!!.......2003-07-18
A community is terrorized when hundreds of spawning genetically-mutant piranhas are accidently released from an isolation pool and into a river used by the community for boating, fishing, and SWIMMING!!! These things are so violent and aggressive, they may as well be consitered "Mini-Jaws's". They attack anything that moves and chews it up until it's practically gone!
I'm a star!.......2003-04-04
I really love this movie for one reason: I was in it. I play one of the kids in the summer camp (I'm wearing green and blue shorts). I've even got pictures with Solie to prove it. The funniest part about making this movie was that in the trailer that I would get dressed in, they kept a bloody skeleton prop that looked like it was eaten by piranahs. Everyday as I would change into my wardrobe, that stupid thing would be staring right at me. I really hated that.
piranha.......2002-11-22
Some of you may think that it is a terrible film, but i think it is so funny!! It's such a good film....
Cheesy horror film.......2001-09-17
I baught this film for Soleil Moon Frye only and she does an excellent job in this cheesy horror film that is not scary and the pirahnas a little rubbery, also bad acting by William Katt.

Milo.......2005-10-27
I think it is the best scariest movie I have watched since Mikey and it is alot better than Freddy's movies, Friday the 13th movies with Jason, Halloween with Michael Myers, and the Boogie Man. I rate it as high as you rate a scary movie I would watch it day and night every night because it was really good and I buy movies all the time and it is one that you should watch and buy You will really enjoy it. I thought it was sad how are them children treated him and done him when he was younger and I still think it is one of the best scariest movies I have ever watched and I hope they will make a second movie of it because I would buy and watch it everyday too thank you.
1 Pair of Leather Assless Chaps to Trade for Spiderman Comic.......2004-09-29
I would compare this movie with that of the "lord of the rings" trilogy, anything with frank sinatra in it, the annual pedigree dog competition, "the price is right" show, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.
In a nutshell, this movie rocks my mom, and my sister, who are the same persaon, if you catch my drift.
by the way, i know where you live
Milo, A Great Movie (Ya Right).......2004-03-24
This is one of worst films I've ever seen. It's plot is stupid, it is very pretictable, the acting sucks, and the ending is the worst ending for a movie I've seen in years. If this movie was on sale for 5 cents, and it was the only movie in the store, and I would get locked upside down in a locker for a day if I didn't buy it, I still wouldn't buy it. This movie isn't even good enough to rent, even for free. Spend your money on something else, don't go near this movie. Please, please don't tell me they'll make a sequel, that will make this movie look even worse, cause I doubt they could make a sequel that was better than this horrible movie. Please listen to my review, only rent this if your life was in the fate of this movie. Anyway, that's all I got to say, DON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS MOVIE.
1/10
Rated R for violence and mild language.
Milo.......2003-06-23
Milo is the dumbest movie ever. No horor lover would love that movie. The boy is wierd and strange but not scary. I would only buy this to start a collection of not scary, scary movies. save your money and buy Darkness Falls. Thats a scary movie.
Underrated mystery-horror........2003-03-23
A young boy, Milo, kills a girl and stabs her friends. Sixteen years later, one of the girls, Claire, returns to the town to attend her friend's wedding. But when she arrives she learns the friend died in a car accident the day before. Claire takes over the friend's teaching job and soon she starts to see a boy who looks just like Milo.
This is the standard slasher movie plot but the movie is somewhat different. First of all, it has less main characters than most slashers, which makes you care more for them, and especially the heroine, Claire. On the other hand, less characters mean less opportunities to kill them. The result is a horror movie that is more of a mystery than a gory slasher.
The movie is director Pascal Franchot's first, and so far only moviem and some scenes could have been better made, but overall this is a good debut.
In my opinion, this is better than the standard slasher because the plot is more interesting and the characters are better than in many slashers and easier to care for. The last fifteen or twenty minutes aren't quite as good as the rest of the movie, but still not bad. If you're looking for a mystery-horror movie, give this a try! If you want a slahser with as many killings as possible, there are other movies that would be better.

A Discrace to all Disney movies.......2002-07-06
"Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves" is stupid to all movies, including the scene where the Szalinski Brothers (Pankin/Moranis) were showing their stomachs. I give this 1 star.
This movie is hilarious!.......2002-02-25
My favorite comedy part was when the parents were all shrunk and Gordon called Wayne's wife Thumbelina. Also, it was funny when Wayne shrunk the Tiki Man, himself, his brother, and their wives, his wife notices the Tiki Man and says, "You thought you could outsmart me and shrink the Tiki Man so I wouldn't notice, well guess what.." and then she shouts at the top of her lungs, "I noticed!!!!!" That was funny. The cockroach and daddy longlegs were cool-looking, 'cept daddy longlegs' creep me out (heheh). I would recommend this movie to any Disney fan because it is really funny. I also liked the part when Wanye was admiring the "detail of this big roach turd". This movie made me laugh, and you will, too!
Pathetic.......2001-12-30
Talk about bad sequels. Rick Moranis stars in this awful third sequel to the once-funny-and-entertaining "Honey I Shrunk the Kids". The concept basically plays the same way as the first film, but with the adults instead of the kids being shrunk and the inner house instead of the garden as the universe to explore. If you think this sounds interesting, think again. The movie is boring at best, right down an embarrassment at worst.
First of all, the continuity of the series has been completely flushed down the toilet. The only remaining actor of the first movie is apparently Rick Moranis. The actress playing his wife has changed, the actors playing the kids have changed, the ones playing the neighbors have changed... you name it. They try to make us believe this is the same family, but the results are puzzling to say the least.
Second, the story is a rehash of the first one, with not one bit of originality. All the few jokes (and there's barely any) and the dangerous situations presented in the movie are just copied straight from "Honey I Shrunk the Kids".
Third problem, the special effects. I'm sure this has been done on a smaller budget, but they are pathetic, way way worse than the ones appearing in the rest of the series. You're supposed to admire in awe these tiny figures exploring the huge domestic area, but you'll probably end up cringing most of the time.
Fourth problem, to locate the action inside the house is just boring. Only few things happen, and when they happen, they are not thrilling at all. The first movie was amusing because the kids were dealing with nature, the grass, and the bugs that live in it. In this one, the adults (which come up as rather boring, compared to the kids) deal with dust, a cockroach and a cockroach trap. Disgusting.
I don't know why the idea of releasing such a trite sequel to the already moribund series appealed Disney's executives, except maybe because they needed to cash in without spending five minutes thinking about something new. I'm warning you: leave this tasteless cash-in garbage where it should stay: getting dust on the shop's shelves.
Oh No! I forgot to leave Mitch's medicine, we gotta go back.......2001-07-30
Honey We Shrunk Ourselves is a good movie and I have that video and it is a cool one. Diane & Patty go on vacation and there is one Problem? Patty forgot to leave her son Mitch's medicine and they turned back to put it home. The boys were not home because the three kids were shopping. They heard the Dads upstairs and the two women got shrunk too?
