Disappointed.......2007-05-12

Even though I like the actors, and the plots were what one would expect, the dialog and editing left me wondering why I liked the program when it aired on TV.

Hunter Season 2.......2007-01-11

Contains all the seasons - if you are like me and watched Hunter as a kid - this DVD is for you. Don't forget the first and third seasons either.

Hunter DVD Season 2 A Must.......2007-01-10

I grew up watching "Hunter" on television and I have to say that if anyone has ever been a fan, these DVD seasons of Hunter are a must have. Season two is excellent, this shows the ever more popular demonstration of how Hunter and DeeDee become close friends and respect each other as individual persons instead of just partners. DeeDee does experience her tragic moment when she is raped by Raul Marionone, furthermore, Hunter of course in his daring fashion, is shot and must recover from his injuries in order to battle Raul later. Furthermore, some great episodes are in Season 2, such as: Scrap Metal, Night of the Dragons, and of course Rape & Revenge Parts I and II. Furhtermore, I love the episodes of The Beautiful and the Dead Parts I and II.

Furthermore, there are visual interviews and commentaries in the bonus sections of these DVDs Seasons in which the actors of Fred Dyer and Stepfanie Kramer talk about their experience working in the show, and other interviews are from Stephen J. Cannell and Mike Post. Also, on the inside of each of the covers of the DVD cases, has a description of the actors lives and how they came to be on the Television show called Hunter.

If you want to know more about what happens in the episodes, you will have to buy this DVD collection.

I only hope that the rest of the series will get published over time, right now in the Western United States there are only Seaons I, II, and III, for sale.

Fun, Mindless, Entertainment.......2006-11-05

Hunter was one of the last successful crime show television series that did not try to be an accurate (or more accurate than normal)police procedural.

Former LA Rams football player Fred Dryer plays Rick Hunter, a tough-as-nails LA homicide detective partnered with DeeDee McCall, an undercover specialist.

The two were as Mutt and Jeff as you can get, and the plots and acting could be downright silly, but it was a fun and entertaining graduate of the Aaron Spelling school of crime drama, and as such, it has its own intrinsic value which is one judged properly by the common TV viewer, not highbrow TV critics who would recommend program that Hunter fans wouldn't watch it they were paid to do so.

It's nice to have this series available on DVD.

HUNTER Season 2 is AWESOME!.......2006-09-23

This show is AWESOME, and so is Season2, I grew up watching HUNTER, I mean Fred Dryer as Sgt. Rick Hunter and sexy Stepfanie Kramer as his sexy partner and friend Dee Dee McCall, plus in Season 2 you had Bruce Davison as No Nonsense Capt. Wyler.

This season has put Hunter on notice, and this is the most popular Saturday Night Police Drama of the 80's.

also there was even Rape and Revengeand The Beautiful and the Dead (both 2 part series).

This show along w/Magnum P.I., Knoght Rider, Miami Vice, and even T. J. Hooker as well as WISEGUY helped chang the face of Police Drama in the 80's.

God Bless Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer on their excellent performance and God Bless Frank Lupo and Stephen J. Cannell on a job well done.

This made-for-TV fare is about what one would expect with David Hasselhoff and a cast of less-than-well-known actors/actresses.

The movie begins in a foggy London, in the late 19th century. Jack the Ripper is interrupted in his dastardly deeds by his intended victim's screams and the handy presence of a bobbie or two. The police quickly give chase, with a horde of people in tow (About 40 or so...how did a mob gather so quickly, in a minute or two?...must have been a slow night in London town). They chase him to the middle of the London bridge; he's stopped from going across by a mob on the OTHER side of the bridge (she must have had a scream like an air-raid siren...do you know how long the bridge is?). To avoid capture, our caped murderer jumps in the Thames. In his haste, he knocks off a capstone from the bridge (must have been weak cement). We don't see Jack again, but see the stone floating gently down through the water (don't stones sink pretty fast?).

Next scene, at the transplanted London Bridge over Lake Havasu on the Colorado River in 1990 or so. Whiny wife wants to walk across the bridge, the night before the re-dedication of the bridge (somehow, they found the capstone at the bottom of the river, and decide to ship it, along with the Mayor of London, to America). Hubby is too tired, so this provocatively-dressed woman decides to walk across alone, in the middle of the night (victims are always so bright!). She pricks her finger, a drop of her blood falls on the capstone, and the blood begins to sizzle like a over-cooked steak! Soon, a shape forms, and female DNA or no, our boy Jack is back! Complete with cape! Up to his old tricks!

This time our unlucky American tourist's screams don't bring anyone to her aid. Hubby reports her missing at noon the next day. He apparently doesn't realize she didn't come to the the hotel room, and the cad has fallen asleep without her! He reports her missing to cop David Hasslehof on the bridge, just in time to make a scene. He's puttered around for 12 hours, now he can't wait a few minutes more to file a report.

Hasslehof plays a cop who is in trouble with the political leaders of the town, because he doesn't 'play by the book'. Stop me if you've heard that one a million times before.

The rest of the movie is just as bad. I don't know if the boys on Mystery Science Theater dissed this film, but it's about on par with those lousy movies they have so much fun with.

OK to watch to see how bad it is, but, really, don't your tires need to be rotated or something?

Re-make better then original.......1999-05-12

Personally after seeing the same movie re-done I thought that the movie could not be that good. Then again what do I know. The cast surpised me with the freshness. David and Stepfanie complimented each other nicely. The producer and director should be pleased with their work. I just wish this video was avalible so I can add it to my collection.

'Arizona Ripper'? I don't think so!.......1999-04-10

I have seen "Terror At London Bridge"/"Bridge Across Time"/"The Arizona Ripper", and it is mind-blowing badly done. The plot: the old London Bridge is moved from the English capital city to Arizona where it is rebuilt. AMAZINGLY, the spirit of Jack the Ripper (London prostitute serial killer, Aug.-Nov.1888) is locked in the stones of the newly erected bridge, and is hungry for more victims. A mish-mash of gore and bore. Not for anyone with an ounce of common sense.

Independent films are one of the few places left to look for original material, studio Hollywood being slavishly devoted to (safer) sequels. That being said, this particular low-budget piece borrowed much of its premise from the mainstream "Down and Out in Beverly Hills."

From the outset, you have to suspend disbelief a little to swallow the idea that young, good looking, intelligent, and well-dressed Will Stewart can't get a job and is so down on his luck as to be reduced to panhandling. Additionally, it seems the part was written for a black character, since all of Stewart's friends are black. But if you can get past that, the movie is very well acted and compulsively watchable. It ends with a whimper rather than a bang, but that is because the filmmakers seemed to want to hang on to realism rather than embrace the fantasy trajectory of the movie.

Ms Kramer has always been a gifted actress, and this movie only scratches the surface of her imense talents...still, she is so beautiful to watch, and she is so hot in this film! Sexy love scenes with Scalia.Even with the limited material, Stepfanie manages to jump off the screen.She can hold her own against the best of the best as far as Im concerned.

Quite an entertaining movie for a low production film. A "must see" film for Jack Scalia fans. He looks "HOT" in this film and is very sexy. There are several "steamy" love scenes that shocked me never having seen an R rated film with Scalia in it. Overall he does a good acting job playing a character that's rather twisted. One huge negative about this movie is the music. It's obnoxious and very dated.

Beyond Suspicion was an entertaining movie, it's not going to win any awards but Stepfanie Kramer looked great and the plot was well done. If your a Stepfanie Kramer fan then it is well worth watching.

Stephanie Kramer does a fine job of creating the disturbing relationship of two very different twin sisters, who are (at the same time), very alike. When Carol discovers that her twin sister Lynn has gone missing, she must fly to Montreal. She meets Lynn's friend and finally discovers that her sister had been lying to her all these years; Lynn was a call girl, and didn't work for the stock market. Suspecting that the supposed death of her sister had something to do with her clients, Carol goes undercover as Lynn and teams up with a cop, Sgt. Delveaux, to find out the secret behind the disappearance of her sister. Above-average direct-to-video release with dedicated performances, moderate suspense and a decent music score dredge this up from a one or two-star rating. Pretty good feature.

It looked like a walk in the park for Stepfanie to play the double role. I have heard that many didnt like this movie but to me I rate it the highest that it comes, 5 stars. The plot was a real twist at the end, but the bad cop thing really wasnt the best way to go. For a movie that was a tv only release I have to give credit to the writers and actors for giving it the right ump.
