I was very impressed with the extensive knowledge of Mr. Goldfeld displayed in this book. He showed a realistic approach to problems of purchasing. His encouraging, posiive outlook, combined with very concrete charts and tools, made this book worth reading. The book is laid out step-by-step and easy to follow.
I especially liked the teamwork approach to reducing suppliers and the use of a steering committee of top people including all those who are affected.
Supplier Strategies is a well researched book with a variety examples, written with Mr. Goldfeld's humor, making it easy and enjoyable to read.
