Bad for outside use.......2007-06-06

My husband and I have had two of these cameras. They both lasted about a year. The first one quit working when we took it to the beach. It was 50 feet away from the water, and we covered it in a towel to keep it dry and sand-free, but it quit working that day. We got a replacement because it was still under warranty. The second one lasted a little over a year, and it quit working when we took it to a swimming hole with us. Again, we made sure it was wrapped up and inside a backpack. A friend took it out for one picture, and after that it stopped working. There was water involved both times, and I think that might have something to do with it, but neither time did the camera get anywhere near the water, and it wasn't humid, either. All in all, it's a cheap camera, and it's great if you never take it outside, but I wouldn't reccomend this camera.

Beware of the Repair.......2007-03-20

$ I just sent my camera in for repair to a location recommended by Kodak. I just received an estimate of $85.00 plus shipping, to repair the MCU, whatever that is. Anyway, as all may already know, this camera can be purchased here on Amazon for $95.00. So you be the judge. This camera should be advertised as a "disposable camera". When it costs more to repair something than to replace, it's usually called junk. Never again Kodak. Once burnt twice shy.

I like it..........2007-03-09

I got this camera for my birthday, it works really well! Not very expensive, takes [usually] clean photos, but lighting can sometimes be difficult. Video is good, but no sound. =(

Good for teenagers, if it's lost/broken you're not out a lot of money, small enough to keep with you, easy to use, and great for pictures of you & friends. I would definetly recommend it.

(PS, we got one for my grandpop's birthday too, and he understands the basics. Not hard to learn)

C310 plus Easy Share Printer Dock.......2007-02-20

C310 is simple to use, has very good resolution, lacks a bit more automatic settings, but takes excellent shots. The printer works at a pro level, however the limitation of not using printer cartriges could not satisfy everybody easily. However, for our family, it works perfect

Bad news.......2007-02-04

I bought this camera new and on the 4th time I went to use it, it did not work. After several times to unsuccessfully change batteries, I phoned the Kodak service repair. They were unable to help troubleshoot and asked me to send $69.00 plus shipping and the camera for them to look at and repair if possible. I asked to talk to a supervisor but their response was "they are too busy". Why would I spend $69.00 on a camera that costs less than $100 and not even know if it is repairable. I wouldn't wish this camera on the most unfortunate person.

I will never buy another Kodak product because of this. There are too many other good products out there. Buyer beware!

Kodak Digital Camera.......2006-11-13

This camera is a great 'play around with' camera. I got one for myself for taking pictures of my emergency management exercises, etc. and like it very much. I let my daughter borrow it once in awhile and she likes it too. So, for her birthday I got one for her. It is a great camera for everyday, close snaps. It is fun and easy to upload to the computer. I like the Easyshare Software that comes with it, too.

One downside is that it is not very good with far-away shots. It has a zoom feature, but will only zoom just so far before you start losing resolution. So if you are not planning to take zoomed pictures that are more than about 15 - 20 feet away, then it is a GREAT little camera.

The best camera ever.......2006-08-23

I bought this camera about a month ago and it is still working. It is really durable and can handle a little roughness. It tends to eat batteries so keep some handy when you know you're going to be taking a lot of pictures. You'll need a memory card because it can't hold many pictures. I have nothing to complain about. The camera is easy to use. The software is easy to use as well. Two thumbs up.
