Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great for what it is.......2006-05-11

Great, small camera. The picture come out pretty good actually. It looks good enough for web pics and picture sharing. Good for a small camera on the go because it is solid and small. This is a camera you can actually put in your pocket. Some cameras are small, but not this solid. They need an updated version that is 3+ MP and more memory.

2 out of 5 stars Could be alot better.......2005-10-14

I had this camera over a year and i hate it. You have to hold it exactly still for 3-4 seconds and if you move it, it will mess the picture up. you can't take any decent pictures inside and when you take them outside.

If your taking pictures of nature or art or anything that don't have motion and isn't a person then buy it. others wise save your money.

one thing I loved about this camera is that it doesn't take batteries and you can charge it up by putting the usb port into your pc.

4 out of 5 stars perfect camera for certain needs.......2005-08-30

if this is going to be the only camera you have, i'd say buy something better. if you already have a nicer manual/digital camera and just want something to play around with, this camera is perfect. i purchased it with the intended use of something small that i would take anywhere, not have to worry about it getting banged up, and be able to take pictures namely at parties or out with friends.

Great Features
- the exterior casing is strong/durable
- the size, fits in your pocket
- the flash works well enough indoors to take pictures of friends, etc
- very fast shot time, less than 3 seconds
- no additional batteries needed, battery life is fairly long
- can take either 40 medium size shots or 150 small, no need to worry about extra memory cards
- software couldn't be easier

don't buy this camera if:
- you want an lcd screen to view pictures
- you want to print the pictures
- if you are going to use it for family vacations, or any trips where you'd want really quality pictures, this is more of a normal day to day camera

the camera is perfect for college students!

4 out of 5 stars Decent pocket camera for the price.......2005-08-12

I've been using my 130 for well over a year now. Yes, the picture quality isn't the best. It needs to be held very steady, and taking pictures indoors is hit or miss (usually miss) It is quite handy though, and easy to always have around. I haven't found a better slim pocket camera for under $200.

The metal case especially is great, as it means this camera can live with keys and other pocket items that could seriously damage a lesser armored camera.

One can't fault the lack of a screeen for a camera this inexpensive, and the built-in battery is easily enough that you'll almost never have to worry about charging the camera (through the USB connector) leave it plugged in overnight once a month, and you're good to go.

5 out of 5 stars Small, durable, inexpensive -- great to stuff in a pocket.......2005-01-04

I've owned a Pocket Digital 130 for several months now and paid less than $60. For that price you can't beat it. The unit has a rugged steel case and I've yet to run into a problem with the internal battery running low. The camera holds about 45 photos at 1.3 MP.

For outside photos it works great. Under good fluorescent lighting it is adequate. On the negative side, the flash isn't powerful enough to compensate for poor or incandescent lighting and the viewfinder could use some markings to help frame shots.

It's not comparable to a $300 camera, but then it isn't meant to be. It's small, rugged and dependable, and for the going price it's a steal.

Addendum: Since leaving the above review, I've used Picasa 2 to salvage a number of pictures taken in poor light that I thought were hopeless. I highly recommend using it in place of Logitech's bundled software. Picasa is available at no charge from Google.
