The Olympus E-1 is a high performance, high resolution 5.5 megapixel camera. The E-1 offers a new Full-Frame Transfer CCD for increased dynamic range, improved color, and reduced image noise. Additionally, Olympus's exclusive Supersonic Wave Filter virtually eliminates dust particles from the imager.
The Olympus 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens is compact and lightweight. It covers the focal lengths most commonly used in normal
photography, from wide-angle to short-telephoto. The focusing system features an advanced "floating" mechanism that ensures
excellent image quality at all ranges from infinity to extreme close-up.
The Olympus SHLD-2 Battery Grip Set includes the HLD-2 Grip which houses the BLL-1 battery pack and easily attaches to the
base of the camera while supplying an extensive power supply so you can shoot a day-long assignment without hesitation. Much
more than just extra power, the HLD-2 also improves the focus tracking speeds in Continuous AF, allowing you to track faster
moving objects. Also included is an Olympus BLL-1 Li-ion Battery and Olympus BCL-1 Battery Charger, giving you all
the supplies needed to charge and shoot without worry.
