1 out of 5 stars Disapointed.......2002-12-24

I found the last one at the local Echarts, half price, but even at 60 dollars I have to take it back.I have to reboot everytime i want to transfer pics from the camera to the PC.I could possibly live with this but the pictures are grainy and really poor. I`ll stick with my trusty FUJI..

3 out of 5 stars XP Non-compatable...but THERE IS A WAY!.......2002-08-21

I bought the 1320 with high expectations and most were met, except for the non compatability of the software/Drivers. (The software it comes with and the download from Polaroids Webpage).

If you are currently in use of your computer (powered up)and plug in the camera
the Operating system XP will display a message box telling you
that the camera is not recognised thruogh the USB port.

To loop hole this problem, simply use Microsofts Paint shop Pro. I used version (Paint Shop Pro6)and I'm not intirely sure if any other PSP versions will cure this problem.

There are 2 similar ways to make the camera visible.

Firstly connect the camera with the USB connectors turn the camera on and set it to PC mode.
Then power up your computer (Cold Boot) or RESTART(REBOOT).

After doing the above, open PSP and click on the open folder option, click on look in; you should now see the camera as an external drive or removable disc e.g. " :E " etc
Click on the new drive to download and see your Pics.

Have fun, maybe you guys at polaroid can write a new driver
or send me a great new camera compatible with XP ha ha.
Regards, O'reilly

4 out of 5 stars SATISFACTORY BUT...............2002-07-04

The PDC 1320 performs fine according to its price, resolution is good, colors are good, the camera in general works weel but the flash could be more powerful.
What I didn't find good was the Polaroid service, my camera is still covered by the warranty, I have had some problems with the camera (the cable is not working properly) I wrote two emails to Polaroid and they don't even bother themselves to give me an answer.

5 out of 5 stars Its Great.......2002-04-23

I have owned my Polaroid pdc1320 camera for 10 months and can honstly say this is a fantastic little camera.picture quality is second to none,The camera is easy to use and has three resalotion plus three size settings (six settings) plus 2x zoom that works on high res mode only.I use manly 640x480(med res) with medium size settings It gives good pictures plus around 365 pictures from a 32 meg flash card on that setting.70 with inbiult 8meg memory.Half that on highest resalotion settings and double on lowest.self timer is good the macro is not real good though.there is a small delay when taking photos about .5 sec. With the flash off it still takes good pics in low light.I had my camera bag (without my camera in side)stolen out of my car,I lost my cords manual and driver cd,when making enquires about perchasing replacements Polaroid Australia were very helpfull and replaced them for free (Great cust support)

3 out of 5 stars Warning windows XP users.......2002-03-20

My pictures were fine on the camara's LCD display but I tried numerous times to download the software and even had polariod's Tech support on the phone, but the software would not download not from the CD nor the website. The software was not being recognized by windows XP. After two weeks of back and forth with polaroid tech support telling me it was XP compatible and a consultation with tech support from the manufacturing of my computer telling me to get XP compatible downloads from polaroid I gave up and took the camara back. According to polaroid tech support and on there website the 1320's download software is compatible with XP. On the box when I was taking the camara back I noticed that Windows XP was not listed as one of the operating systems the camara was compatible with.
