Very Good for the Price.......2007-01-26

The quality of this camera is certainly impressive, with 2560 x 1920 resolution images delivering crystal clear quality, this is definitely a very nice camera for the price. It is just about the lowest priced camera you are going to find on the market these days, but it is still a good camera.

Outside of the picture quality and price I also greatly enjoy the included recharcheable battery. So many digital cameras are true battery hogs, but the included battery here has a fairly long life span comparatively, and the best part is it is rechargeable. And there is no separate recharger required, you just plug the camera into an outlet with the included AC adapter and you are recharging your battery. The camera even works on AC power so as to save battery life.

There are some problems with the camera. For one thing there is no viewfinder. Personally I like the viewfinder, but the 1.7" TFT LCD monitor works well here, so it isn't that big of a loss.

This camera also boasts a 4x zoom, however it is a digital zoom rather than an optical leading to less quality pictures on the zoom. If you don't require full resolution for zoomed images, this works out just fine, but you can't get the high quality images when zooming with the Optimus 5.0.

It is fairly easy to use, and like a lot of cameras includes video capability, with audio. Quality here isn't the greatest, but certainly not bad either. All in all this is a great inexpensive camera.
