But they did just that with the revolutionary 8.2-megapixel 20Da, and what a camera it is! It allows the capture of dramatic, long-exposure deep-sky images without the need for a laptop computer! With live focusing at 5x or 10x magnification on the camera's 1.8" LCD screen (how cool is that!), 2.5-times greater sensitivity than the 20D in the H-alpha region of the visible spectrum (for red nebulosity), and improved electronic noise reduction, the 20Da delivers stunning celestial portraits and unprecedented ease of operation for an astronomical camera. It stores images in RAW and/or JPEG format on a Compact Flash memory card (sold separately). Sold as camera body only, without lens. Add any Canon EOS-compatible lens and use it for daytime photography, too!
