I needed to have spare batteries to capture my friends wedding. I ordered two from Eforcity and shipping time was really fast. The batteries last much longer than my original. They were much heavier too so I think thats a good thing. No complaints, I got my for about $ ten bucks each, I think this was the best price at the time.
I would recommend this brand, gets the job done.

I decided to take a gamble on this generic battery even after having read the warnings about generics at the $45 official Canon NB-2L battery page. The price on these generics is much too low to justify not gambling on them.

So I got this battery, it worked on startup in my Canon PowerShot S50, and then seemed to take longer than the original to finally bring up the low battery symbol. It charged with no problems in the Canon charger in around an hour and then worked fine when put back into the camera. This battery is rated as having 800 milli-amp-hours (mAh), as compared with the original NB-2L's 540 mAh, so that may be why it seemed to take longer to run down, but as this number is likely often fudged by generic battery makers, it may not have been that - could have been that my original had been recharged about 30 times, reducing the potential chemical energy left in it.

In summary, 30 dollars was saved plus got to feel clever for choosing a generic battery that wasn't a bust.
