Product Description
Kingston introduces it's 32MB CompactFlash Card with PCMCIA adapter. Approximately one third the size of a full-sized PC Card, CompactFlash cards fit in PCMCIA Type II slots using an adapter, which is included in this package. The rugged, low-power cards store from 4 MB up to 32 MB of digital data. CompactFlash cards work with many digital cameras, PDAs, and other portable devices that use removable memory. Click on the Accessories link on this page for compatible devices. CompactFlash memory cards are designed using solid state components, which save power, consume less energy, and extend battery life. CompactFlash memory can withstand severe shock and vibration without losing data. Rated at up to 2,000 Gs, Kingston's Flash Memory can withstand the equivalent of a 10-foot drop onto cement. CompactFlash memory is compact in size (credit card-size or smaller) yet is able to store up to 32 MB on a single card. This makes it the ideal storage solution for today's portable digital devices. While Flash Memory stores data in memory like DRAM and SRAM, it is non-volatile and retains data even when the power is turned off (similar to a hard drive).
