This Lexar Media's USB-Enabled CompactFlash card is specifically designed for use with the Lexar JumpShot cable, which provides a high-speed, easy-to-use connection to your PC or Mac system via USB port. The USB-Enabled CompactFlash card is backwards compatible with any other CompactFlash reader. Write Acceleration Technology (WA) allows digital cameras and CompactFlash cards to work together perfectly to pass and store images more quickly and achieve image-write speeds never before possible. Current cameras supporting Write Acceleration Technology are: all Kodak Professional cameras and pro camera backs, such as DCS Pro Back 645, DCS Pro Back Plus, DCS 720x, DCS 760, DCS 760m and DCS 14n; Nikon D1x, D1h and D-100 (Requires camera firmware upgrade by Nikon); Sanyo DSC-MZ3.

Lexar's CompactFlash cards are individually speed rated so you know the minimum capability of the card. Lexar uses the same rating system used by the CD-ROM industry, where a data transfer rate of 1x equals 150 kilobytes per second (KBps). The higher the speed rating, the faster your camera will be able to write images to the memory card.
