The FARGO 4250 is a fast, mid-sized, full-color and monochrome card printer. It prints high-quality, continuous-tone photo ID cards in about 35 seconds each. The 4250 ships with either a Windows parallel or Macintosh serial interface and provides edge-to-edge printing capabilities, LCD display, oversized card capacity, Ethernet network compatibility, fast 32-bit print spooler, color matching software, 2MB standard memory, and much more. The printer is available with built-in magnetic encoding for both high and low coercivity and/or a smart card contact station.

Fargo Electronics' 4250 card printer provides all the quality and features that any discerning user could ask for. This color printer is able to print up to 100 cards at a time and has built-in RAM, enabling the 4250 to process and print cards at the same time. An LCD screen lets you know the status of your prints and provides other useful information, while edge-to-edge printing on CR-80 size cards virtually eliminates any visible border. The 4250 can print on a variety of card sizes and thicknesses including standard 3.375-by-2.125-inch ID, 3.63-by-2.37-inch CR-90, and 3.88-by-2.63-inch CR-100 cards. Using a dye-sublimation process, the 4250 prints high-quality 300 dpi cards at speeds as fast as 8 seconds per card and is capable of printing over 16 million colors. Fargo also offers optional features such as magnetic stripe encoding and smart-card (embedded computer chip) capabilities.
The 4250 card printer is backed by a one-year extendable warranty.
