The HP Deskjet 9800D wide format color printer combines high quality output and wide formats for the needs of personal and professional applications. The 9800D is ideal for users and small businesses with large-format color printing demands who need to maintain the flexibility of a standard office printer. With the capability of printing paper sizes up to 13 x 19, you can print exceptional quality output from 4 x 6 in postcards to Super B format.

Speed
The 9800D prints up to 30ppm black-and-white in draft mode and 20ppm in color, with a monthly duty cycle of 5,000 pages that allows for heavy print production with less maintenance than other printers. The 150 sheet input capacity allows you the flexibility to print out large documents without having to reload repeatedly.

Quality
Laser quality black-and-white prints can be rendered up to 1200 x 1200 dpi while photo quality color prints can be output at up to 4800-optimized dpi color and 1200-input dpi using HP's Thermal Inkjet technology. Choose from a standard 4-ink color or an optional 6-ink color printing for richer photos. Images on most paper sizes can be printed with or without borders.

Capacity
The 9800D's paper tray holds up to 150 sheets of paper at once or 15 envelopes to allow for more conventional office printing. Print spreadsheets without having to worry about spilling over to multiple pages. You can also print duplexed marketing materials with a full-color bleed.

Custom paper sizes
The 9800D can utilize all standard paper sizes, including letter, legal, tabloid, and executive, as well as odd and custom sizes like 3 x 5, 4 x 6, 5 x 7, 8 x 10, 11 x 14, 11 x 17, 13 x 19, and No. 10 envelopes. The duplexer unit works with letter, legal, tabloid, executive, super B, 11 x 17, and even 13 x 19. The unit also works with a wide variety of media types, thicknesses, and weights from 60 to 280 g/m ².

Connectivity
Using a standard printer parallel interface as well as USB 2.0, the 9800D connects simply with either your Mac or PC.
