With a 150 MHz RISC processor and 32 MB of printer memory (upgradable to 384 MB) under the hood, the Magicolor 2+ laser printer was designed, with performance in mind, for busy work groups. The CXE offers crisp 600 dpi resolution with print speeds of 4 to 8 ppm for color and 16 ppm for monochrome. A standard 10/100 Base-TX interface makes integrating the CXE into an existing network smooth and painless. You can also connect via the parallel or serial ports.
To assure exact colors, the CXE comes bundled with QColor automatic color-correction management system, ICC-compliant profiles and Colorific calibration software for screen-color matching.
By coupling the standard 250-sheet input cassette with an optional 250-sheet lower feeder, the CXE gives you a maximum input capacity of 500 sheets. You can feed it a variety of media including plain paper, laser-quality labels, glossy paper stock, transparencies, envelopes, and more, with a maximum size of 8.3 by 11.7 inches.
Included in your purchase is a free starter kit containing black toner, color toners (cyan, magenta, yellow), fuser oil, OPC belt, and waste-toner kit. The Magicolor 2+ CXE comes with a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship in the product under normal use and service.
