The QMS 2560 is designed to meet the needs of today's speedy LANs with a 10BaseT/100BaseTX Fast Ethernet interface and support for the most popular network protocols. The QMS 2560's 600 and 1200 dpi resolutions offer advanced halftone settings which deliver photo-quality images and razor-sharp text for reports, memos, and newsletters. QMS makes managing a single QMS 2560 or an entire network of printers easy with an advanced suite of printer management software including the latest printer drivers, QMS CrownAdmin 3 and QMS CrownView. With an 80 MHz PowerPC processor and advanced controller technology, the QMS 2560 makes small works of complex print jobs. Besides handling a wide range of media sizes and types-including transparencies and page sizes up to 11'' x 17''-the QMS 2560 allows users to define custom paper sizes for use with the printer's multipurpose tray. Printing at up to 25 ppm, the 2560 Ex provides high-quality results on a wide array of media types and paper sizes including A3 large format and user-defined custom documents. For superior images, the 2560 Ex features 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution in all paper sizes for sharper text and high-definition graphics. Its standard universal paper tray holds up to 500 sheets while its multipurpose tray holds another 250 sheets. There are also a variety of paper-handling options that can increase the printer's maximum capacity to 3,750 sheets so that no job is too large for the 2560 Ex. Other options include a 5- or 10-bin mailbox, stacker/stapler/hole punch functions, duplexer, and extra paper trays.
The QMS 2560 Ex is equipped with standard Ethernet connectivity, an IDE hard drive, and an advanced suite of networking software for easy installation and management of network printers.
