The Lexmark P450 is a compact printer offering borderless printing and smart ease-of-use functions. It brings great performance with 4800 x 1200 dpi and its built in Photo CD Burner is perfect for saving digital photos. Your CDs can replace traditional photo negatives and you can preview your prints on a large 2.4" color LCD screen. You can print borderless 4" x 6" photos that look just like traditional photographs and even apply photo effects, color fixes, red-eye removal and cropping. Also, play slideshows on your TV with its TV/Video out feature with an optional TV, PictBridge cable.The P450 is a PC-free printer thanks to PictBridge digital camera interface compatibility and its digital camera memory card slots. It supports a variety of Memory Cards and it will recognize your camera settings thanks to Exif Print compatibility. Plus, an optional blue-tooth adapter allows you print images directly from your blue-tooth enabled picture-phone.

Not a bad printer for the price.......2007-05-06

The picture quality is good and prints faster than my previous lexmark photo printer. Having the cd burner in the unit is great for clearing your cards, as well as sharing and backing up your photos. I also love the fact I do not have to be connected to a pc to print or save my photos. Great to take on vacation, especially if you take tons of photos like I do.

The con for me is the photos take time to dry so you can't just set it to print and forget it. The photos will stick to each other.

I received this printer 2 days after my initial order...Amazon is just GREAT!!! This printer is a fabulous deal for the money. So many features, you can print pictures via USB jump drive, CDROM drive, camera, memory card, from a cell phone with a Bluetooth adapter. The features are many. The quality of the prints are truly 35 mm quality. You won't find a better deal anywhere!!!!!!

Very nice for a single function printer.......2007-03-10

I bought this unit over a year ago, and it have been working great ever since. We have an amateur photographer in the family, who does hundreds of photos at a time, and this little unit handles a lot of the printing, quickly and efficiently.
The CD ROM door broke, but luckily snapped right back in place with a little coaxing.
We use this unit for 4 X 6 prints, only - so we wouldn't be reviewing any other sizes.
It was a very good investment for us.

Good printer came with bad ink cartridge.......2007-01-30

When we received our new printer and we tried to print, every picture came out green. After a couple of days of troubleshooting, reading, and getting on the products web page we finally called the support center, which was in INDIA. Talk about very hard to understand. It was frustrating enough trying to figure out the printer situation, but then to get someone in a foreign country to try to walk you through his troubleshooting steps was not pleasant. He was very, very hard to understand. He finally did decide to send us a new ink cartridge and it was on my doorstep the very next day. Since then, the printer has been GREAT. Lexmark definately needs to pay the extra money and get an American Support Center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lexmark P450 printer is GREAT!.......2007-01-20

We purchased this printer for my 16 year old daughter for Christmas & she absolutely loves it. It is so user friendly & it prints professional pictures. Couldn't of asked for better, and the prices was GREAT! I would recommend this product to EVERYONE!
