This computer will not work with the HP LaserJet 1020 printer.

Seriously.

There is a service bulletin out which simple concedes that these two pieces of HP equipment won't work with one another.

Again, it is a sign of how far down HP has slid in terms of engineering and production: two HP products currently being sold as new that won't work together.

Good Computer For Me..........2006-04-26

I purchased this computer almost a month ago when my Dell desktop and laptop started having some serious issues. Overall it is a great little PC. I only paid [...] for it after a [...] and I think it was an excellent deal. I like the small size the most because I have a small office. I use this computer for accessing the internet, storing music and photos, and some other pretty basic functions. So for me it works great and meets all my needs.

It's a great PC and I use it as a music server and PVR. I have 2 Slimdevices Squeezeboxes connected, and I installed the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150 MCE l.p. and it works great.

There is one major problem though. If you use a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer, it causes the cpu to run at 100%. I troublehot with other models within Microsoft & other brands(wired versions only)and they had no problems. I ended up with a Logitech G5 mouse for comfort. Annoying because I can't return my MS Intellimouse,I've had it for about year now. I told HP(India Call Center)and they didn't even want to document the bug. Pathetic! When they sent me an email for a survey for my experience with their call center I documented the problem and sent it to them. Hoping it will be addressed. Doubt it though. This makes me sad, since I am also an HP employee.

Beware....Very good computer and excellent as far as a media computer goes. It has lots of stuff I never had before and it is lighting fast. This would make a good first computer or a very good computer if you have school age children.
MY PRoBLEM!! IT does not come with a TV tuner to record live tv and a remote! It does not have s-video out.
READ THE BUYER INFORMATION CAREFULLY!!!
This is misleading under the heading: PRELOADED SYSTEM AND SOFTWARE, "....additionally, it enbles you to control your television with the included remote, record and pause programs....." (It even shows this with the included instruction sheet with the remote)Even points out what buttons to push...
When you try to use the software, it states: "no tv tuner found". "Must add tv tuner to use this function".!!!!!
This is a very easy computer to set up and it looks great with a LCD Monitor. Just remember this does not come with any cables except the power cord.
This computer sets up out of the box in less than 15 minutes.
OK...remember it does not have a TV tuner and no remote to record live TV like TIVO. I guess that is why I'm giving it a 3 star rating. It would rate it 5 stars if they hadn't mislead me in the description..
