The Capio thin-client terminals from Boundless Technologies are fast, easy and affordable Windows-based Terminals. Capio uses a powerful processor and is the fastest performing Windows-based Terminal in its class. It is designed to outperform other thin-client devices on the market, while providing easy plug and play capability.Capio is powered by the Microsoft Windows CE operating system, with support for both the Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and the Citrix Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) protocol. Capio accesses Windows applications through Citrix WinFrame or MetaFrame servers, and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition servers. In addition, Capio can be used as a direct replacement for a text terminal, with a broad range of terminal emulations available through the optional Network Text Terminal Emulation Software. Users even have the ability to run multiple sessions simultaneously. Capio gives users the ability to access Windows applications while simultaneously obtaining the advantages of a centralized computing model: low administration requirements, low costs and high security.
