Driving the Pavilion m270n is a fast 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyper-Threading technology (Intel's new process whereby single CPU systems mimic dual-CPU systems -- thus boosting performance during high-drain procedures such as multitasking). HP has added 512 MB DDR SDRAM (expandable to 1 full gigabyte) and a 128 MB nVidia GeForce FX 5200 AGP 8X graphics card with TV and DVI capabilities. With a setup like this, the sky is the limit. Whether you're into state-of-the-art gaming, television broadcast recording or 3-D animation, it's possible with the Pavilion m270n. To upload and download information from external devices such as digital camcorders and digital cameras, the system also features six fast USB 2.0 ports (two on the front), two FireWire interfaces (one front, one rear), and a 6-in-1 media card reader.
