This 2.8GHz Xeon processor delivers extensive processing power, throughput and headroom to help your application-intensive IBM eServer BladeCenter configuration reach peak performance. It features the new Intel NetBurst microarchitecture, which can help increase overall throughput via a faster 400MHz system bus and an enhanced 512KB Level 2 cache. It also features new Hyper-Threading technology which allows it to execute more than one thread per processor. This increases the throughput of your blades applications and helps enable optimal scalability for Internet infrastructure and e-business applications.
