This Kayak XA-s mid-tower has the Intel Pentium II 400Mhz processor. The Pentium II has 512K of integrated L2 cache for maximum efficiency. Millenium G200 AGP graphics accelerator with 8MB of SGRAM offers fast response in both 2D and 3D applications. Clearly, it's capable of meeting your needs. A common bottleneck in many PC systems is slow response from storage devices. Not in this workstation. This 6.4GB Ultra ATA hard drive has a data transfer rate of up to 33MB per second. 64MB of SDRAM is standard on this model, and it is expandable up to 768 MB. One additional drive bays are available for additional drives. Of course, this system includes full multimedia capabilities, with a 32X CD-ROM drive and full duplex 16-bit sound. The case has an integrated speaker with volume control. HP Workstations lead the industry in the extensive manageability features. Access is available to over 600 PC attributes with detailed information on the workstation and its components.
