I have had an iMac for three years and just now needed to replace it because I've started doing graphic and web design. Nothing comes close to the power and elegance of the Mac platform. It's easy to use, has a ton of power for graphics programs and is THE platform of choice for design professionals. I can't recommend this system highly enough for people who are doing graphic design, web design, video editing or multimedia development. The SuperDrive lets you burn your work onto CDs or DVDs to show clients. You can easily upgrade the graphics card if you do video rendering. Installing extra RAM (which is a must) is easy to do yourself by just opening the side panel and popping the RAM into the DIMM slots.

The stability of the operating system and its intuitive user interface make this set up so far beyond anything the Wintel world has to offer that anybody who needs a great computer to do graphics, web design and/or video editing should definitely get this machine.
