The SpinPoint P80 drives provide storage capacities of up to 160GB by implementing 48bit addressing feature set. Industry standard 48bit addressing feature enables the drive to overcome 137GB capacity limitation and extend drive capacity up to 144 Terabytes. These new drives also can be configured to operate in an optimal condition under intensive Audio/Visual data transfer environment by enabling its A/V feature set. It allows the drive to guarantee the timely delivery of requested data from the drive. With its onboard cache of 2MB, 8.9ms average seek time, and dual DSP (Digital Signal Processor) architecture, these new models are ideal for today's business PCs, high performance consumer PCs and digital consumer electronics.
