Magnific little thing.......2007-07-04
I bought the gray iPod Shuffle a few months ago, and enjoyed every part of it until someone stole it last week.
Excellent sound, very easy operation, and durability. Nice price for the capacity and design.
For doing things like working out, going to work, or travelling to a near city, you can't go wrong. For many many people who buy bigger ipods, this is actually what they need, not a bigger device. I've had nanos and videos, but it wasn't until I got the new shuffle that I really listened to my favorite music constantly. Think about it, deep inside what your iEars may be really expecting is to hear your REAL favorite tunes all the time... and that's the equivalent of like.. 150, 200, 250 songs?? For most of normal consumers, this is enough. Now if you really really want to have with you all the time your ENTIRE collection, and you really NEED it, then you should look for the more gigas.
The only con? mmmm.. maybe for it being so small, it got stolen! No, seriously, it's a great little thing. For PC people, iTunes-only compatibility may be a stress factor, for me it was ok.
I don't regret having buying it, and definitely would get it again.
LUV 2 SHUFFLE.......2007-07-03
It did everything Apple said it would. I use it while walking, doing yard work and house work. Easy to use and I have not had any problems with it. Amazon was easy to work with on the order, had a great price and corrected a minor ordering problem w/o any drama.
the headphones are not good!.......2007-07-03
My ipod Apple 1 GB iPod Shuffle AAC/MP3 Player Metal (2nd Generation)is great.
The headphones it came with are not at all good.
They fall off your ears constantly. The disign and building is poor.
Get better headphones, so we don't have to pay for an extra pair and end up with more trash to dispose off.
A Pink Even A Man Would Wear.......2007-06-29
Oh Pink iPod Shuffle, let me count the ways I love thee:
1) You don't break down as often as your predecessor, the gumstick Shuffle.
2) You weigh very little.
3) Your clip is very strong and works for securing onto a cap.
4) The buds are an improvement versus the previous iPods.
5) The little USB thingy to recharge and sync is extremely cool.
OK, now seriously, this Shuffle is recommendable for those that really want to take their iPod outside and forget that they are wearing an MP3 player. Its form factor is convenient and the buttons take little time to master. Its premium over other players with similar capacity is well worth it.
Not user-friendly or easy to learn.......2007-06-28
If you are new to the MP3 player technology, this is NOT, I repeat, NOT A GOOD PRODUCT FOR YOU. This player is only for those who already own and use an MP3 player. This is important because the Shuffle has no labels and its small size (book of matches) necessetates your finger instinctively jumping to the "Forward" or "Back" button as it is too small to see. Also, there are no song labels so you pretty much have to either know what you have downloaded, be willing to scroll through or frequently change the songs. Regardless, this was my first MP3 player and I still have yet to figure out how to use it.

Great Wireless Router for Home or Office.......2007-07-03
This router has great wireless performance and range. I live in a 5000 sq. ft. home and the router is in the basement, yet I get excellent signal quality throughout the house.
It is also easy to setup while having every conceivable option for configuring the security and accessibility of the LAN.
only initial problem in setup was my firewall.......2007-06-23
I had read alot of reviews on various websites and found that I was fairly well armed in terms of troubleshooting, but had no real problems in connecting to the web interface (just change the ip of one of your pc's to match the default ip of the unit-like the directions say) and when I changed the ip setting on the unit to "assign automatically" to match my network config, it was a little challenging to log back into the interface (after changing my pc's setting back to assign ip automatically) cuz I had to start at the first ip in our router's range and keep entering each next ip until I got to the one that had been assigned to the unit by my router but luckily it was the third ip i tried. after that it was pretty easy to config the unit and install the printer on my xp, but for my 2000 I had to add the ip of the unit to my trusted zone on my firewall before it would work. If I had any tips for anyone, I would say to open the pdf manual for the unit and keep it alongside the quickstart directions as it has more helpful detail. Just finished installing it and haven't put much traffic through it yet, but so far so good.
It Works!!.......2007-03-08
I have this print server hooked up to my wireless router. I can print from 1 Windows Vista Laptop and 2 Windows XP Laptops. Setup was a little confusing, but I followed the directions and had it all up and running in about an hour. I no longer have to keep restarting my old Windows 98 computer that was only being used as a print server, so I am very happy. We have been up and running for over a week now with absolutely no problems.
Senior Service Center Escondido's Computer Lab.......2007-01-04
This server works as advertised. The last-page pausing is only on one PC & seems to be that PC's problem, not the server's. I strongly recommend this as a good value server.
Solid Performer.......2007-01-04
The documentation is a little sparse and the connections are not quite intuitive. The strange names given to the printer ports didn't help during setup either. But once it is setup, it is a solid performer. Now I don't need to leave a computer turned on to act as a printer server.

Product Description
The ultra small 4-port USB 2.0 hub is the most versatile and powerful hub on the market. This USB 2.0 certified hub allows you to connect up to four USB devices to a single USB port on a PC/mac/laptop. This hub has been certified by the USB-IF to support hi-speed data transmission rates up to 480Mbps. Perfect for both the desktop and mobile user. For the mobile user, this full-featured hub with self-stored cable is the size of a 3/8" thick credit card making it the ideal "pocket size" solution for the user on the go. For the desktop user, an extension cable has been provided so that the hub can be located within easy reach, wherever the PC is located. While the hub will function perfectly in virtually all cases without needing external power, a compact, multi-voltage AC adapter (110/220V) has been provided for the rare circumstance when connecting a power hungry device. This USB 2.0 device is backwards compatible so that it will function with both USB 2.0 devices as well as USB 1.1 peripherals.

Great little powered USB 2 Hub.......2006-02-01
This item is smaller than a deck of cards and provides 4 powered USB 2 ports. The Amazon description indicates this is a USB 1.1 device. The literature indicates that it isa a USB 2 device. I required a powered hub for my notebook computer that was USB 1.1 compliant. My system indicates that the Hub would work faster on a USB 2 port - but it works without issues on my notebook. I bought this USB Hub because the manufacturer - TrippLite is a very reputable name and makes great products.
I have not been disappointed.

Genius!.......2007-06-14
AS I look at this little Tritton the first word that comes to mind is Genius. Second word Brilliant. With it's bright blue LED light, which I like, this device is phenomenal. I got it yesterday, and as of today I am loving this speaker system. The sound is clear, intelligent and balanced. I also have the JBL Duet which are also amazing. I was initially looking for portable laptop speakers. The L-Tek V 20 was a bit high priced for what it was. Then I happened upon the JBL Duet's which are GREAT! I wanted a "portable" speaker that I could take with me and also just move from room to room WITHOUT an adapter & plugs etc...I read about the Tritton and went for it. Fantastic! Just great. Volume output is high and I keep the volume on my laptop at half. Loudness doesn't always translate into quality. In this case, this little Tritton is so good, that I am writing my first review for Amazon. This speaker comes from Tiger Direct and I got it in 3 days! One thing---when I open Windows XP, and it recognizes the Tritton, there is a split second 'electronic buzz' or 'blip' as the speaker starts up. Don't know why, but not enough of a factor to make a difference. Plug n play; XP recognized it immediately, and I'm not a PC freak. There is software but I doubt I will install it. All in all, any hesitations about this Tritton should be forgotten. You will be happy with it. I'm an audiophile and know sound. For what I wanted, (the JBL Duet) and this Tritton have satisfied me 100% ! ~Denise, NYC
Great Laptop sound solution!.......2007-05-25
I wanted a good sounding speaker set for my laptop that I could throw in my bag and use in a pinch. This product exceeded my expectations.
I frequently hook a projector to my laptop and show video clips with sound to a medium-sized group of people and this made my 2lb projector and laptop into a real multimedia system. I plugged it in to my USB port and it worked - life is beautiful!
Great little portable USB speakers!.......2007-05-24
I had built a desktop mini-itx system and couldnt get any sound from the output jacks. I was too lazy to try to 'tinker' with it so opted for USB speakers instead. Read through the reviews here and given the price with free shipping (at the time) thought I would give it a try. No complaints here.
Again - these are not high fidelity speakers but they are very good speakers. Sounds comes through loud and clear.Very easy to install on XP - no drivers needed; plug and play. Driver is included for 5.1 effects, etc but I did not install them. USB cable wraps around base - all one piece design - no need to carry around 2 speakers, cables, etc. Very compact. Will not disappoint. Great for those on the go with 'lousy' laptop speakers.
As Advertised.......2007-05-13
I wanted USB driven speakers. This unit had the best reviews I've read anywhere. I bought the Tritton unit without incident. Tritton may very well have the most robust USB speaker system available currently.
For claims of low or no volume, it is user related. I could make that same claim if I did not know how to optimize the system. Find someone who can help you maximize speaker throughput.
Just what i was looking for..........2007-04-13
Wanted a simple way to boost sound on my laptop. I have bigger speakers but they don't work well w book on tape or movies because ALL the sounds are louder, not just the voices. I tried the J-Labs and they were somewhat tinny and didn't produce as much sound as I was hoping. The bonus w the J-Labs Bi-Flex ($40) is that they have that bendable USB arm, so you don't have to sit it on anything or fuss w it. Which is the only reason I gave the Tritton's 4 stars, other than that, they are perfect-- and ridiculously affordable for the suprising amount of sound that comes out of this portable little unit. I actually had to turn them down while watching our movie tonight. YAY!!!

There's nothing too fancy about this little hub but it does the job. I thought the blue lights would be exciting but they turned out to be the most annoying feature since I can't get three of them to stop blinking when a device is attached. The manual is sparce and doesn't mention why this happens nor can I find any info on the Targus website, either. It has a flat side which makes it easy to mount under my work desk and keep clutter down a little. There are better choices out there but I made mine and I'll keep it for a while.
works great!.......2007-06-26
This hub works great! Easy installation. No fuss! That's the way things ought to be!!
Solid device, good price.......2007-04-26
This is a very compact, well-built USB hub which worked right out of the box with both Windows XP and 2000.
It was purchased for 1) it's price and 2) it's size. The hub is well-worth the money and more of these hubs are in order for the other computers around the house. Of course, the small size means that it is easily dragged around by the movement of any cord attached to it. Some Velcro or double-stick tape might be useful to hold the hub in place.
One possible disadvantage to this hub is that there is no option to plug in an external power supply. This limits the total amount of power that can be used by the devices plugged into the hub. To help with this, the hub comes with a Y cable and can be plugged into two ports on the computer. On the "computer-side" of the cable, the black connector provides both power and data to the hub. Optionally, you can plug in the red connector to provide additional power to the hub.
Perfect for almost anything.......2007-03-13
This thing works really well- however, you have to plug in two USB plugs (they do come with it) if you plan on charging an iPod on it. Otherwise the iPod looses battery faster than it can charge it.
works for me.......2007-02-26
So I read other reviews, and took a chance. I have yet to need the power supply that comes with it, so it is really portable so far. I like the feature that you may unclip part of the adapter that swings out so I can actually lay the device flat when it is plugged into my laptop.

Product Description
IOGEAR's palm sized 1-port USB 2.0 Print Server allows any networked computer to share an USB printer. It complies with USB 2.0 specifications (backward compatible with USB 1.1 spec.), and provides users with an auto-sensing Ethernet port that works with either 10Base-T or 100Base-T networks. This unit also supports multiple protocols and multiple operating systems, and it integrates Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) in this print server to allow users to print from any computer over a LAN/WAN or the Internet by specifying the device's URL. The built-in web management feature provides more convenience by allowing the user to configure, monitor and even reset the print server via a web browser. This eliminates the need to place the printer right next to the computer. Print jobs can be sent to a printer in another country just as easily as to a printer in the same office. Why bother sending a degraded fax image while you can print an original at the destination?
Customer Reviews:
Product is ok, Support is nightmare!!!.......2007-06-12
I would have give all 5 stars if the customer support was "technically" supportive. The print server itself was working quite smoothly in a LAN. However, it was not available for internet printing. reason: the print server only recognize the router only, not the external ip address. When contacted "technical" support, I got to know that some dump guys are sitting in the iogear support and they do not actually know anything about the product technically. only they could tell me that everything is given in the instruction manual huh? if it is so why should I call the customer support? Then they started blaming my network/ remote network etc. Reality is that they do not know what they talking about!!!!
Bottom line: If you are looking for a print server that is to be used only within your LAN, it is the best one for you for that price. Do it yourself, never expect "technical" support from IOGEAR.
Great little gem!.......2007-02-16
I absolutely LOVE this little but powerful gem!!! It works wonderfully with Linux (Mandriva 2007) and Windows and I've had zero hiccups with it. I wish I could say the same for the Linksys PSUS4 that it replaces!
This IOGEAR is a GREAT purchase!
Great biscuit sized server.......2006-12-23
This neat little biscuit sized Server is a great solution for multiple PCs networked at home. We are using it on both Windows and Linux PCs. Setup on Linux was a piece of cake and worked straight away. Setup on Windows was also easy and only complicated by the Firewall software. After some on line searching found that the Spooler Subsystem requires server access in the trusted network. You will most likely need the software loaded on Windows (we did) to allow the Print Server to be discovered.
We wish that it was designed with all cables on the rear.
We should have purchased this a long time ago. Hint: You can access the print server menu by keying the assigned ip address into your browser. It will be helpful to review the support pages at iogear before starting to install. Also, the review here by tech book reader is well worth reading.
Worked After Some Tweaks (Brother HL-5150D printer).......2006-09-18
The print server hardware worked fine, but the setup software
caused a few problems as a result of oversimplication.
I was able to get the server going with a Brother HL-5150D USB
printer on a home network with 4 computers (3 wireless, 1
ethernet), an all-in-one networked device and the USB
printer itself. This is using a mixture of computers with
different flavours of Windows XP. The print server is wired to
a router using DHCP. I did not chose to put the print server on
a static address (as the manual prefers) since that does not
reflect my network setup (home networks are usually DHCP).
I encountered problems because:
(a) My software firewall first caused the installer to crash.
I wanted to avoid turning it off entirely, but
to no avail. I was able to leave my router's hardware
firewall on but had to turn off my software firewall
for the installation. The manual asks that firewall
be turned off at installation, but I find that drastic.
I guess I should have cut off my internet connection when
I did this.
(b) I installed my printer drivers and print server back-to-back
without rebooting the computer in between. The manual
allows for this but I was not able to avoid the "the
segment of the print server is different from your
computer" error no matter what I tried. So I rebooted
and started the print server install a second time over.
Worked fine. The manual's guidance for this error was
incorrect in my case.
So, if what I've learned applies:
(i) install the printer driver as a normal USB
printer on your computers first.
(ii) reboot the computers
(iii) install the print server software.
Did this for all computers on the network, and
now I can print from anywhere (note that I did not
reconfigure the print server hardware each time, only
on the 1st computer, but I don't see the harm if one
does it for each computer as long as one is consistent
in placing the same settings each time).
(c) The installation of the print server software caused
my printer settings to go from "Use Printer Online"
to "Use Printer Offline". My printer swallowed all
my jobs because of that and no pages were coming out.
To remediate this go to the "Control Panel", "Printers",
"Viewed my installed printers",
right click the printer and select "Use Printer Online".
Did this for all computers.
Everything worked after that, with all firewalls reenabled.
Some day in the future, the network will go down
(power outage or other), and DHCP router might
assign a different dynamic IP address for the print server.
If that is the case, I'll have to point my computers to the
new IP address. To findout what your computer thinks the
printer address is: "Control Panel", "Printers",
"View installed printers", right click the printer and
select "Properties". Select the "Ports" tab,
then "Configure Port". Then compare the IP against the
new address your router gave to the print server
(go to your router's web page to find out). If they don't
match then you'll need to reconfigure. That said, I tested
a new IP address on the print server by power cycling it.
I then rebooted the computers and found that the new print
server address had been matched automatically on my
PCs. So things can fix themselves even if the network goes
down (the name of the port was still had the old address,
but the actual address it used was the new one...)
I've not tried this with IPP printing (remote location
printing, not did I test it under Linux or Mac).
The print server's web access is rather primitive.
But it has all I need. I intend to use this with Linux too.
The device worked as advertised and I am satisfied with it.

It Lights Up.......2007-05-01
This hub works as advertised. It's a bit awkward having to plug two usb cords into each side. But the most annoying thing is - it lights up. The bright blue glow is very distracting when you're trying to watch tv, read, or sleep in the same room as your computer. I can't figure any way to turn off the light (besides unplugging it).
After two Belkin's failed in one year, I tried this.........2007-04-25
After two Belkin's failed in one year, I tried this Cyber Power usb 4 port. I don't know anything about the company, but the device works perfectly now for several months, and shows no problems at all.
It's not even worth the trouble to try and get my money back from Belkin, and those cost three times as much as this Cyber Power.
Bought it as a gift for my son.......2007-01-18
My son says that he's happy with the USB 2.0 - 4 Port Hub. It works great and he was really pleased with it. So far, no problems with the hub.
Not bad at all.......2006-09-10
I purchased one of these when browsing Electronics at our local Wal-Mart. I was looking for a small and compact USB hub (3 or 4-port) and I ran across this. I don't know much about the CyberPower brand name, but I was very impressed with this hub and how it's worked thus far. I placed some double-sided tape on the bottom and have it sticking to a part on my desk for easy access and it's worked great for running my multiple USB-capable hardware such as my printer, web camera, & external hard drive. I would recommend this hub to anyone looking for more USB ports to plug into. *Thumbs up* !

Supplied the power needed to make HD work.......2007-04-10
I had purchased a portable Hard Drive which was supposed to work without a power supply if it was plugged into a USB2 port. Well, it didn't work on my Powerbook. So, I bought the powered hub and the Hard Drive works just fine. The connection on the top is handy. Use a piece of velcro or some other means to secure the hub in place on your desk somehow, otherwise it will not remain in place.
Works Great .......2007-01-12
The Port works as advertised. Its easy to use and dealing with this company was great. I received the product in a few days and started using it immediately. I advise anyone to use this for the I-pod shuffle, and to use this company.
Good All-Round Hub.......2007-01-09
Yes, as others have said before, it is light and made of plastic but thats its only real drawback (if you consider that a negative). Works great with everything I have plugged into it. The unit does not require an external power source (but does come with one if needed).
If looks are everything and you just want it work, then this is the USB hub to get.
Not very good.......2006-12-05
Some devices work when plugged into the hub and others don't. I don't know what the problem is and when a person stops using something because it is more trouble than it is worth then it is a waste of money. Look around before picking this one up.
Works great. Looks great. I bought 3 more for work........2006-02-27
This item, like other reviewers have mentioned, is a little on the lightweight side. You DO have to hold it down when you remove your USB hardware. However, it LOOKS so nice on a desk that is beside the point.
The people in my office liked its looks so much that we bought one for everyone in the office. You can't beat the price for a 4 port USB hub and you can't beat the looks.
I would highly recommend this 4 port USB hub.
