The Brio systems can be used as part of a network or as a great standalone system. The Brio 8511 is powered by a Pentium II 350MHz processor. Pentium II processors higher than 300MHz have power saving low-voltage micro architecture, and the 350MHz and 400MHz Pentium IIs also run on a 100MHz system bus speed. This higher bus speed provides faster access to system memory, which boosts overall system performance. And like all Pentium IIs, this processor also features MMX multimedia technology and 512KB of in-package L2 cache memory. This model ships with 32MB of 100MHz SDRAM and a 4.3GB hard drive. The memory may be upgraded as high as 384MB for use with more demanding applications, such as 3D CAD programs, and additional hard drives may be installed if your future needs demand more storage space. This model has the ATI RagePro Turbo AGP video card with 4MB of SGRAM. It provides outstanding performance with bright, vivid colors, blazing fast video redraws, and sharp graphics. Windows 98 comes pre-loaded in this system, as well as Adobe Acrobat. You're ready to use your Brio productively as soon as you take it out of the box.
