Great Wall Mount - Easy Installation.......2007-06-29

Very solid - well designed. It installed in minutes and was easy to attach to my 20" LCD/DVD TV.

Peerless Articulating Wall Mount.......2007-06-28

This is a beautifully made product with one exception, the mounting bracket that attaches to the TV will not / does not support the weight of the television. I am extremely particular about things like this being level, etc. After installing the Peerless Articulating Wall Mount, I attached a 19" flat screen TV and watched the TV slowly (and ever so painfully) move its perfectly level screen down towards the floor. NO amount of tighten would prevent the TV from looking at my carpeting.

I called Peerless about the problem and one of their engineers told me that a large shipment of wall mounts had gotten into the country and had bypassed their (Peerless's) quality control. In all fairness, Peerless said they would replace the Mount but I had already developed a workaround for the problem and didn't want to tear-up my installation.

Please be aware that this or any other mount of this type exerts enormous sheer pressure at the wall where the mount arm is connected. I opened up the wall behind the Articulating Wall Mount and installed 2 x 4's then used lag screws to secure the mount to the wall to support the assembly.

fine product.......2007-06-27

This product exceeded my expectations. I was afraid it would be too big for the small TV I wanted to mount but it was not. In fact this mount is quite compact. Very high quality construction and finish. All hardware of fine quality and packaged nicely as well. I bought this to mount a small Panasonic LCD TV on the side of a kitchen cabinet. It was perfect for that. The ONLY issue I had were that the screws to attach the mount to the TV were too long.

Not weight rated correctly.......2007-06-19

Unfortunately this wall mount is not weight rated correctly.
It was recommended for my TV, which weighs 22.5 pounds, clearly within the 25lb limit.
However the joints are strained and the set sags out of level depending on how the arm is extended. I probably should of returned it, but after going to the trouble of mounting it to my wall, I'd rather not start over with another. After reading the good reviews, my guess is this mount works well with sets under 20lbs. If yours is heavier, I'd look elsewhere.

Excellent... top to bottom........2007-06-12

This wall mount was better than I anticipated. Very smoothe movement, easy action. If I had to recommend anything it would be to put a rubber stopper (like those you can put on picture frames) so when you lay it flat against the wall, it will not scratch your paint. That aside, I am extremely happy with this product.
