InfoScan is WizCom's newest Electronic Note Taker. Used just like a yellow highlighter, InfoScan lets you scan and transfer printed text directly to a PC; or scan, store, and transfer up to 500 pages of printed data to a PC, laptop, PDA, or any Windows application via infrared, serial, or USB (optional) connection at your leisure. This completely mobile device offers users a quick and easy way to take notes from almost any printed document, creating fully editable MS Word documents on the PC, PDA, or any Windows application.
The tip of the WizCom InfoScan is a sophisticated electronic eye mounted above two rollers. This eye lets you scan different types of printed information, such as notes, directly into your Pen. The WizCom InfoScan CD-ROM includes the WizCom InfoScan Desktop installation. Install the WizCom InfoScan Desktop on your computer to enable the exchange of information between your Pen and computer and to enable using the Pen as an input scanning device to scan text directly into open Windows applications.
Use the Pen to scan real-time into applications on your computer, or store the data and transfer it at your convenience to the WizCom InfoScan Desktop, to other applications on your computer, or to an IrDA OBEX-compliant PDA or cell phone.
