If you're a skater who likes to keep tabs on your distance and speed, the Navman S300 is for you. This small device, which attaches to your arm, uses GPS technology to locate and track your position with precise accuracy anywhere on the globe.
The S300's simple, easy-to-use interface consists of only two buttons and a small, monochrome LCD readout. On it, you can view your current, maximum and average speeds. Based on these measurements, the unit tracks distance, while a speed target zone setting alerts you with an audible alarm when your speed drops below a pre-set level. Plus, you can use an automatic timer to keep track of your workout session times. And of course, the S300 tells the time and date (using a super-accurate GPS-based atomic clock!).
The unit features changeable faceplates so you can dress it up to suite your style. Its diminutive size (79 x 78 x 27 millimeters) and weight (120 grams) means it is easy to wear with the included armband. Battery life via a single AA battery is rated at up to 16 hours and there is a handy battery life indicator on the LCD screen. The S300's rubberized, water-resistant case is ready for adverse conditions.
