I've got a red one that I bought at Target in Goodyear, AZ YEARS ago. Honestly, I don't remember when I bought it. But it has to have been at least 7 years.
Simple digital recording, easy to comprehend buttons. It lasted for a very long time and only recently stopped working on me. Worthy of catching calls on my home line for those that don't know my cell number. Perfect for screening annoying telemarketers and other such calls. This day in age, what else do you need?

Hello, Hello? Anyone there?.......2001-12-31

This is by far the worst answering machine I've tried. It will be returned as soon as I purchase a replacement. All the features work as advertised, but both the outgoing and incomming messages sound like they are shouted through a long, metal culvert. I'm lucky if I can understand 50% of the messages left for me.
I would give this zero stars, except that the minimum rating is "one star".
