The Tele-Recorder 500 uses a voice-activated system that starts and stops recording by detection of voice or sound. It records all conversations from any extension on a single telephone line or from the line-in-use indicator on multiline systems.
With the Tele-Recorder, you'll enjoy simple installation--just plug into a standard modular jack, or use the included handset adapter on multiline systems. Additional features include dual speed recording (regular and half speed), earphone jack for private listening, built-in condenser microphone for use in nonphone recordings, and a sound monitor switch that lets you listen to conversations as they are being recorded.
The Tele-Recorder comes with a C-60 cassette tape, AC adapter, a handset adapter, and a cord for plugging into a telephone jack. You also get memo message recording, fast-forward and rewind, cue and review, tape counter, recording-in-progress indicator, low-battery light, high-medium-low VOX sensitivity switch, and an optional beep tone every 15 seconds.
