Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars This is probably the best telephone ever made.......2007-05-25

Something can be said about any piece of technology that can stand the test of time. I've owned this Motorola phone for years now and I have never once had an issue with it. The battery life has remained constant, the signal strength is great, and the quality of the phone is perfect. The speakerphone component of it works perfectly as well.

This phone gets dropped, left off the charger for days, and gets at least two hours of use a day (if not more). After all of this, all I can say is that is has a little wear above the display where my wife's earrings have probably rubbed against it too much.

2 out of 5 stars Some drawbacks.......2007-04-07

1. Its charger has no locator button.
2. You have to register it will base (Good part), but if don't want to use this you have to unregister it (bad part) otherwise it will show up in intercom menu.
3. Shows new calls even if the another handset picked up the call (bad).
4. Each phone have its own phone book and call logs ( good and bad)
5. Buttons loses the polish with normal wear and tear fairly easy.

By the ay mine stop worliong in 14 months, too bad customer service. I don't recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Motorola phones are cool .......2007-02-17

The MD600 line of Motorola cordless phones have been discontinued but you can still find the base station and extra handsets for about $60 - $80 each. (You connect only the base station to the phone line) These have their idiosyncrasies like anything else . . . but they look cool and work great. I've had my base station and 3 handsets for over a year and I just bought 3 more handsets (the max is 6) . . . it all works flawlessly, good reception, good sound quality, batteries last long before recharging, each handset has its own phonebook and speakerphone, you can page any handset from any other like an intercom . . . I like it.

4 out of 5 stars Very sturdy phone.......2006-04-11

The phone is very sturdy, very well made, very sleek looking but not as practical as I would like it to be. Everything is pretty much down packed strong except the microphone. For some reason I feel like it doesn't pick up sound as well as it should. A bit heavy but easy to get used to.

5 out of 5 stars Motorola MD61 Accessory Handset.......2006-03-18

I purchased this handset to replace a 900MHz cordless phone on a wired extension that had quit working. Its just as good as the original handset that came with the MD681 phone, which is great. I'll never miss the old 900Mhz cordless phone, or any wired phones for that matter. The sound and build quality of these Motorola units is superb.
