The VTech ev2650 is a two-handset 2.4 GHz DSS cordless phone system that's packed with useful features. Caller ID and call-waiting-ready (with a paid subscription through your local phone company), the ev2650 has a 50-name-and-number CID memory, as well as a separate 50-entry phone book directory. The ev2650 base unit houses a digital answering system with three individual mailboxes, 15 minutes of total recording time (4 minutes maximum per message), memo recording, and full remote operation when you're away from home.
Additional features include call transfer and call forwarding between the two handsets, page, mute, intercom, redial, and adjustable volume control. The handsets include hands-free speakerphone capability and headset compatibility, and come with belt clips for easy mobility. Rechargeable AAA-size batteries are included. The system is backed by a one-year warranty on parts and labor.
