I needed to return my phone. The parties I called could not hear me loud enough. I've asked for a replacement. Perhaps I had a defective unit or it's just a poor design. We'll see how it goes when I get the replacement and try it out. If it's still bad, back it goes for a refund.

Great Expandable Solution!!.......2007-05-30

Panasonic has always made great cordless phones. This product is not exception. They work great. Take 5 mins to setup all 3 of them and you only need one phone jack - wow!. The VE (voice enhancement) feature is not that great but you can tell it does try to amplify the voice on the other end - it just is too loud and gives off an echo. The features are great and the volume adjustments leave you with my options (ring tone and ring volume). If you are looking for a 3-phone solution at a unbeatable price, this would be it.

I found this fax/copier a good buy. The only thing is in my country (I don't know why) the caller id is not working.

Just what we wanted.......2007-05-18

We were looking for an inexpensive, compact fax with cordless phone, but which also identified the incoming calls so we could screen out solicitors. This did all that, and the price was right, and installation easy. Both the fax unit and the cordless phone have the caller ID feature, which was a plus. The only disappointment was that Staples does not carry a generic version of the replacement film, and the Panasonic replacement film is pricy. So just don't let your kids copy their term papers on it!

Works fine, looks and feels "cheap." Very few cordless phones with speaker on handset that are wall mountable? Why?

Not Many Choices........2006-03-09

With most of the available two-line phones now being sold as console units that will support many cordless handsets and built in message features, I wanted a plain old, stand alone, two line phone. Like the old record turntables, most of the big manufacturers still offer one or two choices but the pickings are slim. I decided to chose Panasonic based on a mostly positive experience with their products over the years, but it is not a great phone. Good phone, yes. It can be staticy and not so clear from time to time but I always get a signal. The operation sequence for managing the incoming calls has you push one button and the phone will answer what ever line is comming in. This system does not perform well with "call waiting". I still don't have it down yet. Fortunatly most people call back if I cut them off.

In closing, I had a V-Tech before this that worked great but died after about 14 months. They still make one but the Panasonic seemed a safer choice.

I purchased this phone to use in my office at work. I have the same unit at home but in black.It has been problem free and the only difference I've noted from the unit I have at home is this one has no illuminated keys. No big deal.Very happy overall and the refurbished price I got($19.99) was a bargain.

Its good so far. I have gifted it to someone in India. Its working fine, the main motivation of buying this model was the intercom feature -- and that is working fine.

I like the phone but have 2 minor complaints. The buttons are quite small and are a little difficult to punch accurately. Second, the buttons are not backlit, so they cannot be seen in the dark. I need to make calls in the middle of the night, so this is an annoyance for me. The reception and battery life are good.
