The size of this clock was just right for me. The LEDS are large and easy to see, with a lite blue color rather than blazing red. The radio works well, has an extended wire antena. You will have to spend a few minutes to read the instructions to learn all of the clocks functions.

A great price but some basic flaws........2007-01-21

A nice looking product, but form should follow function....and it doesn't perform that well. Clock is somewhat difficult to read...darker than any other led clocks I own. Also, the radio is difficult if not impossible to tune. Most of my favorites come in mixed with another. Alarm works well however. And for $10 what was I expecting?
So it went in the guest room. Let them complain.

There is a small scratch on the surface, but overall the appearance seems fine. The instruction book was a little confusing, but it is not too difficult to figure out. I am pretty happy with this product.

Bellow expectations.......2007-03-09

This is like a bedroom phone, with radio, clock and alarm.
No problems related to the radio, but the clock does not have the light up during all time.. its difficult to see.. you need to touch any bottom to have lights on.
The alarms have options to set 1, 5 or 7 days a week, but they are confuse to set.
The CID is very nice, and when you are out the lights flash to let you know whne somebody really called you.
If your goal is a CID phone go ahead but if its to have a bedroom phone, I would suggest the GE models.

No Speaker Phone.......2006-06-05

I bought this cute little phone because of it's size and features. Well, it's ok for a phone but don't rely on the alarm. It works when it wants to which is not very often! I would suggest spending a few more dollars and getting a "name" brand! Looking for a new one myself!

The screen on this phone doesn't have full or appropriate view. The letters/numbers are not completely formed. The instruction for setting up the phone were not user-friendly. It still isn't working in full compacity for me after 1 month. I am not super impressed with this product. I wish I had kept the box... I would have sent it back.

After doing an exhaustive search for a cellphone, and reading not one with an excellent rating, AND after purchasing top-of-the-line Sony's (3 in the past 7 years, and not being totally thrilled with them, but they DID have the highest user rating), I decided to try this one. What did I have to lose? I had bought Coby headphones in the past and was THRILLED with the performance, so...
This phone was unbelievably inexpensive, but boy is it fantastic. Reception is SO clear and loud (you can turn down the volume if you want), it is very easy to use, it has call waiting, its ring is very loud and clear. Just a really, really great phone. No more Sony phones for me; this is the best.

The Coby CT-P8700 is a 2.4 GHz analog cordless phone with built-in 50 duplex channels. Included is an additional handset and charger unit, great as a spare or for another location in the house. The filtered sound system gets considerably less noise than conventional cordless telephones because of a special circuit which delivers the clearest possible reception. With the 50 channel auto scan, you can easily find and lock on to the clearest channel for any call. Ensure greater privacy with the built-in security code with 65,536 combinations that prevents use of your telephone line by another nearby cordless phone. The two-way speakerphone allows convenient hands-free operation. You can also store up to 20 numbers for speed dialing.

The Caller ID with call-waiting feature has 40-name-and-number memory. With the big 3-line LCD display you can view name, number, date and time of calls. You can select a preferred language operation in English, Spanish, and French. Other call features include one touch callback from Caller ID list, repeat call indicator, and voicemail message waiting indicator.

The base station has an in-use/charge indicator and 9V DC input jack for power. The handset sports volume control, auto-standby when headset is placed onto base after conversation, built-in 2.5mm jack for headset, last number redial, flash, pause, and tone/pulse switch. The phone is wall or desk-mountable.

This phone deserves 0 star. The display on the handset does not work after the warrenty is up. Poor customer service when you call Coby directly. Overall, this is the worst phone i have come across and it a waste of money to buy it.

You get what you pay for. This cheap phone turned out to be a really cheap phone. I turned the volume all the way up and still can't hear properly. The sound is also very scratchy.

I'm very disappoint with the Coby phone. While one phone is on, the other phone won't turn on. When it ring, it half time won't turn on. I can't understand people on the speakerphoone. Don't waste your money on this phone.

For starters this is NOT a 2-line phone it is a single line, and it is extremely cheaply made. There is no way to turn off the ringer on either handset, the only options you have are high and low. One of the handsets wouldn't charge no matter how you tried to set it in the cradle (the charge light never would come on - and no it wasn't the outlet). I wouldn't even bother to try this one out - mine's going back tomorrow.
