i got this phone because it was cheap, so i guess i got what i paid for, to bad we can't try out the things we wanna buy before we do. i don't know about battery life, but i talked on the phone for about 4 hours straight without a problem, and i don't think it works with call waiting, maybe you have to press flash, not the talk button. but i hope i helped.
