The Panasonic KX-TC1501B features cordless convenience plus a digital answering system. The answering system accommodates up to 15 minutes of incoming and outgoing messages and automatically records the date and time the message was recorded. Pager call alerts your pager that a message has been left, and a two-digit LCD call counter displays the number of messages. Panasonic's 30-channel auto scan automatically selects a clear channel before the user removes the handset from the base. This phone operates up to 21 days on standby and offers up to eight hours of talk time. Panasonic's Ultra Charge enables this model to completely charge in just four hours.

The KX-TC1501 also features a speed dial for storing and quickly dialing up to 10 phone numbers from the handset. It also has a one-touch dialer for quick, instant dialing of an emergency or often-used phone number. This phone comes in black.

I have used this phone for five years and have found it to be one of the most reliable cordless phones I have ever used. The quality is good, the range fine, and the battery life is excellent.

I would buy this trusty phone again today, even with the plethora of feature laden 2.4GHZ and 5.8GHZ digital phones on the market. 2.4 GHZ cordless phones interfere with my WIFI networked devices, and 5.8GHZ is quite a bit more sensitive to obstructions like trees, buildings etc. so I prefer 900 MHZ.

What can I say, Panasonic has always made great phones. This one is no exception. The clarity is superior and the features and functionalities are equivalent to those of a phone twice the price. Buy it. You won't be dissapointed.

Good phone, decent features.......2000-09-04

This phone is nearly identitcal to it's white sibling. I purchased this item because of it's value (price/features) and Panasonic's brand name. The phone itself is fairly light, and the clarity is good. There is very little echo or distortion, given that it's an analog 900MHz phone. However, the recorded message on the answering machine was lackluster. The sound was extremely grainy and hard to discern. Other than that, I have very few complaints. This phone has some nice features, such as a quick charging battery, handset locator, and the ability to call a pager when the answering machine receives a message.

Panasonic KX-TC1501W Phone.......2000-07-22

I am very disappointed with this phone. The reception is very poor on this product and it is impossible to hear the other person on the other line. The white color is also an annoying factor. I noticed that my phone became very dirty with dark blotches on it. My answering machine also has a problem so I called Panasonic and they said they couldn't fix it. I believe Sony gives refunds or exchanges phones for you. However, Panasonic does not. I wasted my money on this phone.

I've been using it for almost 6 month and I'm very satisfied with the quality. Crisp sound, easy bottons, and simple design. It's a lot thinner than I imagined that it won't take up much desk space. At first I was worried about the color cause white gets stain easily but it turned out to be no problem at all. If you don't need caller id and speaker phone function and other fancy stuffs, it's simply the best pick.
