Uniden's EXI-376C is an extended range cordless phone which operates on the 900 MHz frequency and comes with a number of useful features. By utilizing 20 channels of autoscan, as well as extended range technology, the EXI-376C is able to provide clear reception even at a distance. Call waiting and caller ID compatible, the EXI-376C holds up to 30 caller ID numbers in its internal memory, while up to 10 speed-dial presets can be stored for quick access to those most frequently dialed numbers.

With the auto talk setting activated, you can answer a call simply by removing the handset from the base, while the redial function lets you call the most recently dialed number with the touch of a button. The NiCD battery supports up to seven hours of talk time and up to 14 days of standby, while a low battery indicator lets you know when it's time to recharge.

The EXI-376C is wall mountable as well as headset compatible (a belt clip is provided) for hands-free operation, while a page function makes finding a lost handset quick and painless. Uniden also provides a one-year limited parts and labor warranty.

Good product, but like most all portable phones these days - way to bulky--don't hang this on a wall - too bulky - you will bump into it and it looks out of place it is so bulky!

Great phone for the price.......2006-05-16

We got this phone several years ago when our last cordless died. When we got it, it came with a second handset and charger base that you can put anywhere, without needing a phone jack - very handy! We keep one upstairs and one downstairs, even though they do get switched quite a bit. There's a nice variety of ringtones and volumes, which is helpful. I like the "page" button to help locate a lost phone. We've had no static or lost calls, I have even used it in our backyard. The only place we don't get great sound is the basement. These phones have stood up to all kinds of abuse, including my baby using them as chew toys - still work great. We have had them at least 2 years, probably longer and haven't replaced either battery yet. We set them on the chargers at night, though occasionally they get left off until they beep from low battery.

bought this phone seeing the consumer reports best value.
it was pretty good for a year, now the sound quality is terrible and very staticy. so be prepared to replace it after a year, which isnt that terrible considering the price.

Inferior Quality.......2004-05-05

I am very disappointed in the quality of this model. I purchased two, and I'm returning both. Coverage is poor, and CID does not work in all outlets in my house. Very strange. Uniden customer service pretty much confirmed that this model isn't very good. I'm much more satisfied with my Panasonic. I'm going to order a couple more of them to replace the Unidens.

Great phone.......2004-03-24

This is a great cordless phone. I was suprised at how clear it sounded.

I love the caller ID function. When someone calls you you can go back and see what day they called and what time they called.

This phone is very easy to program. You can store up to 10 numbers in the memory function. You can also store peoples names in the memory function so if you hit memory, a list of peoples names will come up and all you have to do is hit talk.

Overall its a great phone, simple to use, and sounds very clear.
