I have owned Uniden, AT&T, Panasonic & GE cordless telephones, but none compare in quality, durability, ease of use and sound quality. I purchased the one I have at Office Depot on clearance and could not be happier. I have just purchased 2 additional here at Amazon for my parents and extension use. The price here is actually better than I originally paid at clearance. My wife and son have dropped and knocked this telephone around more than a prize fighter gets pounded in 15 rounds. This is a definite recommend!!!

This phone has been dependable and well worth the price. My only complaint is that it seems to be impossible to turn off the ringer.

Great while it lasted.......2001-02-24

This phone offered clear sound and decent range while it lasted, but it wasn't very durable. It quit working and I had to replace it less than a year after the original purchase. If price, sound quality and range are more important to you than durability, it might be a good value for you. If you want something that will stand up to a lot of use and that you won't have to replace anytime soon, keep looking.

Excellent Value.......2000-04-25

Having never heard of VTech, I was thrilled at how well thislittle phone works. . . Thereception is perfect and the phone is incredibly sturdy. I now stop and look anytime I pass a VTech product in a store.

My only complaint is that this phone has speed dial, but there is no place to list the names the folks whose numbers you have stored. My memory just isn't that good. I think that's why they invented speed dial in the first place.

I did'nt expect this much quality from a cordless phone under $30. It has good range and the reception is awesome. I also like the size, about 7" long. Great bargain!
