Album Description
James Riker, composer Since Jim Riker retired in 1995, he has been able to fulfill his lifetime dream of composing music with good melodies. In just 4 years, Mr. Riker has copyrighted over 40 new compositions. Lasting Strength is a sampling of his most inspirational compositions.
Mr. Woods began his formal musical training at the age of five when he was accepted as a student of Dr. Moshe Paranov at the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford. During this period of study, he did two years of undergraduate work in the music department of the University of Connecticut in Storrs. In addition to his skills on the organ, he is an accomplished pianist and cellist. He has given recitals in Russia, Scandinavia, Great Britain, and Ireland.
