Bravo!! "Madeline's Midnight Melodies" by Madeline Frank is superb! Her rendition of "Saint-Saens - The Swan" actually brought a tear to my eye! The music on this CD is perfect for sharing a tender, romantic evening at home with your beloved. PLUS, I've found that the relaxed warmth and pure, sweet tones exuding from Madeline Frank's viola helps inspire me while I write. "Madeline's Midnight Melodies" has become one of my favorite CD's!

In Madeline Frank's other CD entitled, "Madeline Frank - In Performance," which was recorded live, it's no surprise that she receives long thunderous applause from audiences enjoying her brilliant performances. This marvelous repertoire of heartfelt classical music (my favorite being "Saint-Saens - The Swan"), is brought to life and given wings by this brilliant violist who conveys vigor, passion and spirit throughout every piece on this exceptional CD. "Madeline Frank - In Performance" is truly a treasure!

The passion in the strength and richness of Madeline Frank's tone and vibrato have the ability to make your heart strings vibrate right along with her viola strings. That was my experience the first time that I heard her music. She shows what a great instrument the viola is...with the beauty of a violin in its upper range and in its lower range it has the richness of a cello's upper range. A nice combination, and Madeline plays both ends masterfully. This CD is also a nice blend of familiar and new (for me at least) melodies. I highly recommend it for a nice, and even romantic, classical feel.
