What a great and healthy endeavor it is in our daily standartized musical repertoires to bring a breath of fresh air with this imaginative "Pictures Concerto"
It is masterfully done in the great tradition of a Busoni and it emerges as an oeuvre of it's own .
Emile Naoumoff brings a gift to all pianists .
There is the Moussorgsky's original for Piano , Ravel's orchestration , and now the Naoumoff's piano concerto . Each of these three aspects of the piece are unique and essential.
Bravo !
