Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars A must- listen Violin Concerto!.......2006-03-23

This composer is one the most known exponents of the German generation which affirmed itself after the immediate years around the WW2 . Legitimate son of the Dodecaphonic School, his style reminds us to Hindemith with visible reminiscences of Bartok and Stravisnky.

His Concerto for Violin and Orchestra has a net virtuosi character. The central movement concentrates the lyrical nucleus.

In what Beethoven 's Violin Concerto there are better options.
