Album Description
Lightscape is a project of composer and guitarist Christof Vonderau interpreting his own contemporary music and also classical music in solo and duo performances with Laurentiu Dinca, violin and Wu Wei, sheng. As in his previous recordings the music is contemplative and very intimate and expressive. Influences from non-European traditional music, jazz and his composing for film are obvious. Lightscape is dedicated to nature and a hommage to Higashiyama Kaii and Akira Kurosawa.
