Imported from Bagnolet, France (a suburb of Paris), this CD features chamber works, duos and solo instrumental pieces perfomed at live concerts in Paris and St-Maur. Vérin is a prize winning composer whose experimental instrumental music is influenced by European jazz and his own experiments in the field of musique concrète, the field of his mentors Pierre Schaeffer and Pierre Henry (the two significant historical figures of the musique concrète movement).
