If Balaji Shankars Voice radiates sunny brightness the violin of Delhi P. Sunder Rajan generates velvety warmth. The performance of this violin Virtuoso is solid and conscientious. Sunder Rajan has accompanied on the violin both Mandolin Srinivas and Trichur Ramachandran in two albums released earlier. Srimushnam V. Raja Rao has been consistently performing in many recordings of Oriental, since its inception in 1977. The most popular Mridangam player, in south India, Raja Rao's original rhythmic patterns has endeared him to audiences all over the world. Hari Shankar is one of the outstanding percussionists India can be proud off. The intrinsic rhythmic patterns which he performs on his instrument has delighted audiences all over the world.

Balaji Shankar learnt Carnatic music from Sangita Kalanidhi D.K. Jayaraman and is currently studying under Sangita Kalanidhi DK Pattammal. H gave vocal support to his Guru Jayaraman during the years 1988-1990, when he was in his early teens. He was declared the best vocalist in the " Spirit of youth festival" in 1989, the music academy, Madras. In the same year he won the first prize and the " TAMBOORA" award in the Papanasivam Sivan music competition, held by the All India Radio. Balaji won the first prize in Carnatic vocal music.
