4 out of 5 stars Tamil Temple flashbacks, big time!.......2006-12-31

This is a great CD if you wish to experience what it would be like to visit a Hindu temple in South India. I got it after a trip to Singapore, where I heard this genre performed live at every puja I attended. It is a great memento of my trip.

The Nagaswaram *wails* and the melodies are sure to call your attention to the fact that something is happening here..... I could hear this from a mile away..... like a Hindu Muezzin....( call to worship) ( I hope the analogy does not offend).

When I play it I can see the pujari, smell the incense....
