Chanting of Mantras are an effective and exalted means to bring ourselves back to our original goal and purpose, while calming our nervous system and bringing peace and fulfillment into our daily lives. As described in Sanskrit, Mantras are "Manaanaat Traayate iti Mantrah" or that which gives solace to the ailing mind". The word Mantra ids a combination of two syllables: Man, meaning to think, and Tra, meaning "to relieve oneself". Consistent listening or chanting of a specific Mantra, directs the mind towards positive thinking, thereby allowing us to live more joyfully and peacefully.
