Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Lun and Quan Jiang are identical twins from Beijing, China. Since their arrival in the United States in 1990, they have concertized extensively as the Jiang Duo, the only professional violin duo team that is made up of identical twins. They have appeared on New York Times radio station WQXR, and the television program "Curtain Raiser" with conductor Paul Lustig Dunkel.

Quan and Lun have appeared in concert with Glenn Dicterow, Karen Dreyfus, Laura Hamilton, Paul Katz, Curtis Macomber, and the St. Lawrence and Brentano String Quartets. They were the founding members of the Equinox String Quartet, which recorded the two string quartets of Saint-Saëns on the Eroica Classical Recordings label. The Equinox was the resident string quartet at the Midori Foundation from 1996-1998. The Jiang twins are presently members of the Gotham String Quartet, the graduate quartet in residence at Rice University.
